An excellent interface with 3 great sounding condenser mics built in.
I absolutely love this device. Not only do the 3 condenser mics built into it record with clarity and simplicity, but it can be used (with a phone app called Mobile Pod) to create all sorts of delicious guitar tones. Generally you can't beat the sound of a nice valve amp but they aren't always the easiest of things to move about. This handy little device allows you to plug your guitar into your phone/tablet on the move or computer whilst at home and record with almost any tone you can imagine. I've long been a fan of taking my acoustic guitar to the park to sit in the sunshine and play. With this interface I can take an electric instead and rock out with some headphones on. I use Garageband on my iphone to record simple ideas but I'm pretty sure that any software would allow you to use the functions of the Sonic Port VX.I've been using this Sonic Port VX for about a year now and it continues to help me make great recordings. I've even used it to capture live band practices where the stereo microphones did an amazing job of capturing the sound in the room that we could then listen back through to help us learn what we needed to work on.

Excellent demo tool with great features
If you're looking for an all-in-one interface to use with GarageBand, this is an excellent choice. You get a slider switch that moves you between the line-in, a pair of mics in stereo, and a mono mic.The mono-mic is good (if a little sensitive) for vocals and instruments. The stereo pair did a decent job of capturing my dreadnought acoustic. The line in is obviously geared towards guitar and bass, but can likely be used with keyboards. It works well with the included Mobile Pod sounds, and is stunning married to BIAS FX or Amplitube. The appearance of latency can be a bit arbitrary, but restarting the app will usually resolve that issue. It outputs direct from the unit using a headphone-size jack, or a pair of 1/4" outs for higher resolution. You can also run your headphones out the iDevice's standard jack (if it still has one, obviously). It might be useful for monitoring. There's also a direct monitoring switch, but it's an untreated sound so only useful for acoustic instruments as far as I've discovered.Set up was as simple as plugging it in. I haven't tried it with my Surface Pro, but I'll try and pair it with Reaper and see what sort of results I get.So, how good is it? For the £100 I paid, it's brilliant. You can easily pull demos together in Garageband and, with the right add-on apps, it'll sound pretty good. The microphones are good enough, but given a Rode NT-1a costs about £139, a pair of stereo SM-57s and a good line interface and some cables will cost over £400, you need to adjust your expectations. This is a perfect portable interface for making demos and quick recordings with high-quality sounds. It's excellent value, it's easy to use, it plays well with iOS and you can use it with any of the variety of apps out there in the AppStore.

Awesome
Although bought a while ago I have had zero issues and the microphones in the unit are fairly decent for a little bit of home recording. The mobile POD is a little lacklustre but not worth losing any stars. Only hiccup is that you need the special cables to plug into your devices and they arent easy to come by ibyou need a replacement. I only found out when I was searching to see if I could get a longer one (which you also can't) but can't complain for the price.

Beware -fine whilst it works
I bought this because It was a mobile, powered microphone, with guitar input for easy recording directly with garageband. For a while I was really happy. The mic is a great quality (although for best vocal results you'll need a pop shield). The options to choose stereo or mono mic was great. A decent guitar input -fantastic.But recently it stopped working with ios devices. My issue doesn't appear to be the same as others whose devices momentarily stopped working when Apple first updated to iOS 13. That issue is supposed to be fixed now (I've been told). Working with Line 6 Customer services -I've instead narrowed down the issue to the lightning port cable. It's got a unique line6 connector and line 6 customer services say Line 6 can't sell me the lead. They say there is only 1 supplier in the UK I can use -Sontec -and they tell me a replacement cable is £56.81 (which is due to cost set by Line 6 to them). For about £6 more I could buy a new sonic port (cheaper non mic version)! There is also a mini USB connector, but if you go from Sonic port VX >standard mini USB out> official apple USB to lightning adaptor>ios device = message on apple device saying "accessory requires too much power". The only work around I've been able to come up with is to go from Sonic port VX> standard mini USB out> powered USB hub connection> official apple USB to lightning adaptor>ios device, to get it to work -the whole thing is no longer mobile, losing one of the main elements that attracted me to device in the first place!Add in the fact that 'mobile pod' guitar software that comes free with device is long overdue an update... I think I'd have to recommend customers spend their money elsewhere. Such a shame!

Justo lo que promete !!
Excelente compra !

Yeah i like this very good as a mic
Yeah i like this very good as a mic . I'm using YAMAHA keyboard now ,, According to the manual , keyboard needs AUX cable in order to connect . But although i bought AUX cable, it doesn't work. I don't know why .. And i had to pay tax 40$ . Probably I have to study more about this product.

Really wonderful this kind of combo audio interface. You got 3 for the price of 1 (Line input, mono mic and stereo mic)
Really nice quality and perfect for the road. I bought for the simple reason that I need a very portable and useful audio interface, not expensive but also with good sound quality and I found the Sonic Port VX and I really amazed with the results, also some of my friends cannot believe me until they saw it working. Nice flat response in mic and also for line input works fine. You can use it with the Line 6 Mobile POD and for the IK Multimedia AmpliTube FREE both iPad version apps.

Gut Gerät
Es ist gut, besonderes mit GarageBand, aber ich finde, dass die mobil Pod App ist nicht so gut. Es hat viele Latenz.
