Good quality lightweight linen
I have had this in my sewing stash for a while. I've noted the comments about it being polyester.I dyed it today and it took the color perfectly which would NOT have happened if it was polyester. It is for sure a natural fibre so I accept it is linen.

Polyester, not linen
When I took this out of the parcel it immediately felt wrong so I did a small burn test as the reason I was looking to buy linen was to wear it against the skin. In my image, the burn test on the right is the product, while on the left is a real scrap of linen. While the actual linen chars, you can see that this product melts together, as well as letting off black smoke when burned. If you aren't concerned about the fibre content, just be aware that this fabric is fairly rough and transluscent. Also be aware that the sellers are being misleading about what it is they are selling. This is not linen!

I like this stuff.
I am trying to be an oil painter and am gluing this stuff to MDF boards then priming it with 3+ coats of gesso ready to paint on. Advantage is that for a little work it is possible to make real linen canvas painting boards of any or all odd sizes very cheaply at home rather than either have to make do with commercial standard size boards or pay a fortune for special sizes to be made for me. It took some experimenting to get method perfected but I have cracked it now.Shall probably buy more as this material as is ideal for me.

Nice fabric but it’s GREY - not white as advertised!
The fabric is actually nice and soft. But it’s not white - it’s pale grey. I didn’t want the hassle of return, and began making the lampshades I bought this for despite the colour but once on the frame the grey tone was even more visible. So it’s clearly grey, not white. Misrepresented in the listing.

100% linen ?
Very nice fabric with probably quite a high linen content but a burn test does show the possibility of a small amount of synthetic fibre, maybe rayon. Very nice to work with though.

Very light and sheer great for table linen or sheer curtains
This is beautiful linen. It is very light and sheer. I had intended to use it for clothing (viking age re enactment clothing) but it was far too sheer and light. It would be perfect for sheer curtains or table linens. Sadly it didn't suit what I needed it for. The seller was very helpful and accommodating sorting out my return request. There were no issues and they were very quick.

Really good quality fabric.
As a Viking and medieval reenact or I use a LOT of linen and I love this stuff!, Beautiful, soft mid-weight linen fabric - lovely quality - not stiff and scratchy like some linen so nice to use next to the skin too. I had a small issue with the delivery (took nearly 2 weeks to arrive), but the sellers communication was good and this was sorted out satisfactorily. The price has gone up recently but it's still so competitively priced per metre compared to what else is out there. Takes dyes beautifully too.
