So these lights are the lights you want to get. Let's just start with that.I thought Phillips hue was king when it came to LED/RGB lighting, not any more.I saw a Youtube video of a guy talking about these and I thought, you know what? I'll give them a try, worst case scenario, I can stick them in the shed.So, I took the power supply and LED strips out of the box (a nicely packaged set of lights), and before I set it up and stuck the strip down, I decided to test the lights out so that I could figure out where I was going to put them. I connected the 2 strips, hooked them up to the power supply, and plugged it in. I was taken back right away by how bright these were. I had to look away because they were so bright, and this was in a fully lit room.I got the app, configured the wifi, and I was connected in a few short steps. If you've set up a smart socket or light in the past, this process with be familiar to you. A quick software update on the lights kicked in, and about 1 minute later I was playing around with colours, animations, and brightness.You can choose between white mode, colour mode, and there's also themes which will animate and change the LEDs to match the effect you choose. Regardless of the mode you choose, these are bright, and super rich in colour.After testing, I was sure I was keeping these in the Den. I replaced the LED's I had already, and stuck these LIFX down where I wanted them in stead. If you're looking for new RGB LED lights, or are thinking of buying them for the first time, these are the ones to go for. You won't be disappointed.

Dont buy any others !these are the best lighting. Our son loves lights and has a extremely large room, we have spent alot over the years to find a bright light , or one to do go with music , or one to do something else . We wanted one that does all but still has the high quality of the light. One of these strips are very bright alone, but our sons room has 15 metres of this lighting up around his room and the effect is fantastic. We created it at the top of the wall, 10cm below the celling , to give an amazing effect on the celling, The effects the app has are absolutely fantastic . They are easy to set up and easy to add an extra one, also easy to cut if the last one of the circuit is a little long . Thanks to this company. I was happy with the price , The starter kit is only £75 but that comes with the plug and 2metres of lighting . Each plug runs 10 metres of lighting. so always measure up to make sure you know what you need .

Adhesion is great the first time but really doesn’t allow for any mistakes. The adhesion comes off if you try to pull of the strips.The lights themselves are amazing. Colours and white lights are amazing.The installation can be a bit tricky but LIFX has got good customer service.The music sync function looks good but could be improved ...the lights have a bit of delay in relation to the beats which is a shame. But in general it feels like a very high quality product.

LIFX Z is a pretty awesome product, but it's not yet perfect.Pros:-Brilliant brightness and colours-Easy setup-Well built-Can be controlled remotely, even if you're not home-Integration with many popular smart home productsCons:-Color reproduction is not always accurate (for example it's very difficult to get a good violet or turquoise)-Adhesive strip may not work well on some surfaces. I particularly struggled with the back of my TV.-The Android App needs a lot of work. There are certain behaviours that cause great frustration, hopefully these will be fixed. For example: * on/off feedback is inconsistent. For example, I shut down the light and it's showing me that it's off but it's not - and after a few seconds app also updates again to reflect the fact it's on. Reverse happens at power on. Several retries are normally needed to get it working. * unable to adjust brightness or saturation while multi-zone setup is operating (it resets to a single colour) * unable to paint with a shade in order to completely turn off particular areas (this is supported in preset themes) * unable to save my own themes (technically you can do that, but only with one main colour across the strip - multi-zone setup can't be saved) * while theme is being animated, the light will refuse to be shut down (you need to end animation, then shut it down) * When you paint particular zones with different colours, a gradient transition will be inserted. Eg. if you paint with blue and yellow, a noticeable portion of the strip will become visibly green. I find this annoying. * Animation is in early stages. It is possible to animate the theme in so that it will gently shuffle the colours, and there are some other effects that will treat the strip as a single LIFX bulb. Advanced strip animation is not available at the moment.Would I buy it again? Yes, if I can get a good deal for it.Would I recommend it? Yes, but think about where you will place this expensive kit of equipment. I use it behind my TV. Other recommendations would include under the bed, behind the sofa or on top of a cabinet.I will update this review if/when app experience is improved. Overall I think this product has great potential as long as the app and firmware will continue to be improved.

Amazing lights, I have two sets, one is 8.3 meters and one 3 meters, synced together and can’t praise them enough, makes the screen and cabinet really stand out and looks great for TV viewing, I turn them off for films though. Great integration with HomeKit and Siri. Expensive but so worth it over the cheap, poorly made competition. I think software updates overtime have helped with WiFi connectivity issues as not experienced any issues so far.

Was really happy with this product. So much so that i purchased multiple sets for different areas of the house. First set still going strong.2nd set broke 2.5 years later (typical with a 2 year warranty) despite product description stating 22 year lifespan! First the bluetooth stopped working, then the plug blew and due to the plug being a sealed unit we can’t access the fuse.

These LED strips are amazing. The ability to display multiple colors throughout the strip looks incredible.The cons, the cost. Literally the only con, they are so expensive and so small.I had no trouble connecting them nor adding them to Alexa. They're easy to use, bright and beautiful.

Las recomiendo 100%, mejor que Philips por lejos. Los colores son mucho mas intensos, la iluminacion mas potente, y la App es excelente, tienes mil y una opcion para hacer de todo, tambien las puedes conectar con Alexa o Siri, lo que si son algo caras, pero si las coges con algun descuento valen la pena.Las puedes ir conectando hasta 10 metros con las extensiones, pero lo unico malo es que tienes algo de distancia entre corte y corte, o sea que te puede sobrar como te puede faltar un poco...

Le produit rempli complètement son rôle et fonctionne parfaitement, il vient s'ajouter à mes 6 ampoules LIFX+ E27 !Je recommande ! Facile à installer, seul point négatif, c'est pas donné ;)

(Anstecken –> App öffnen –> warten bis LED-Streifen in der App aufscheint –> WLAN auswählen und Passwort eingeben –> LED-Streifen benennen). Dann sollte sich der LED-Streifen über die App steuern lassen. Ich persönlich verwende diesen in Verbindung mit einem Google Home Mini. Hier hat die Einrichtung ebenfalls problemlos geklappt.Das Befestigen der LEDs ging sehr schnell. Sowohl der LED-Streifen als auch der Controller sind mit Klebestreifen versehen und lassen sich somit leicht anbringen.Die LEDs reagieren sehr schnell auf Eingaben in der App. Die LIFX App verfügt über zwei Drehräder. Das Erste dient zum Einstellen der verschiedenen Farben sowie der Sättigung. Das Zweite Rädchen verfügt über verschiedene Weißtöne.Weiters gibt es die Möglichkeit die 8 Zonen pro LED-Streifen in verschieden Farben leuchten zu lassen. In der App gibt es ebenfalls vorgefertigte Themen die sich auf den LED-Streifen oder auch auf andere LIFX Lampen anwenden lassen.Die LEDs sind sehr hell und Farben sehr kräftigt.
