Great optic Red Dot
Vortex has stood the test of time. There are many optics that are out there that are just as good, or maybe even better because of features and different styles that are relevant, etc. This one was perfect for my needs. This fit on a Canik Mete SFX, and I did not have to remove the rear sight, which was very important to me. Attached on perfectly, and did not have to adjust the zero when it came out of the box. Still very much quality made, and I took it to the range and shot 250 rounds no problems. Didn’t bounce, go out to zero, and operated flawlessly. Very happy with the purchase. Came on time, and assembly was less than 15 minutes to put together. Good luck!

Good quality for the price
As somebody else stated, the footprint is it’s own unique footprint. Its similar to a Leupold Deltapoint footprint, but not quite there. That being said, I had no problems mounting this to a Shadow Systems XR920: I’m fairly sure that if you have a MOS cut, you should be good to go. Dot was clear and visible on a sunny day and retained it’s zero after 500rds.Pros:- Budget oriented- Reliable (in my case, for at least 500rds so far)- Visible dot, solid brightnessCons:- Unique “Vector” footprint- Windage / elevation adjustment has no tactile or audible click (it slightly bothers me, but had no effect on performance)

Great Red Dot
I have found a reasonably priced red dot to replace the problematic Crimson Trace that came with my handgun. This Vector Optics fit perfectly on the Picatinny rail. Sighting it in was easy and I found the adjustments to be consistent. Once it was sighted in I found the dot to be easy to see and it held its zero. The buttons responded as they were designed to. This Vector Optics doesn't have shake awake and it doesn't have a solar backup but I knew this going in to it. This unit was bought for my rimfire handgun and it does it's job just as it should. The price is right and it has a lifetime warranty. I would definitely buy it again without hesitation.

Holds zero, not bad for an inexpensive red dot
I put this on a Ruger MKIII 22/45.Goods: Fairly easy to mount. Held zero, albeit it's just a .22. Fairly tightly manufactured from the factoryCould go either way: On/off is always a sore point with any reflex sight. This turns on to the last setting. Some of these have auto-adjust, though mine didn't. Buttons are on either side. No shake-awake.Bad: Another device that requires three wrenches to mount, put a battery in, and sight in. Wish somebody would take a page out of Spyderco/Trijicon's book and just use hardware that can be turned with a penny/quarter/knurled knob. For my use case, it's fine. I don't know if it's trust this with a PCC or something heftier. Adequate for range use.

Works very well for the price
Purchased this optic since I needed a bigger read dot to replace my Vortex Venom. Since this has the same footprint, I decided to take a chance and was surprised on its accuracy. Shot over 1000 rounds in a USPSA match and has not lost its zero.

Great optic. Great customer service.
This is a great optic from a company with absolutely stellar customer service. I have it mounted on my service pistol, a Gen5 Glock 19MOS. I love the massive lense. I previously had another smaller optic mounted and I must say that I like this one much better. The larger lense makes the red dot come right up at eye level with ease every time.I use +p+ ammo and it has stood up to that recoil with no shift of zero whatsoever. The red dot is very bright, and on the highest setting there is no doubt that you will be able to clearly see that dot even on the sunniest of days. I did look at the dot through the two night vision modes. They are barely visible in pitch dark but through a Gen2 monocular they are perfect.I wanted to state that if the red dot is not clear you probably have an astigmatism. This is often the case when people.blame the optic. I did have a small issue with Amazon sending me a used optic instead of a new one. The great people at Vector quickly mailed me a brand new optic free of charge. They have fantastic customer service.I carry my pistol with this optic mounted daily on the job and I trust it. Purchase with the utmost confidence.

Not an RMR footprint
Just like the header says this does not have the footprint for rmr. They don't say this anywhere in the production description, all they say is "it's vector foot print" which doesn't really help. and now I have to spend time and money making a return.... So if you're buying this to be used as a red dot for your pistol shop elsewhere... Waste of my time.
