Wow these are awesome shoes!
Some background about my feet.. I have 10 EE (extra-wide feet). I was wearing New Balance WW811 walking shoes. Well I had to quit wearing them because of my health. I have had repeated and chronic bacterial infections in my big toes (probably due to diabetes) so I had to wear open toed sandals so that there would be little to no rubbing of the shoe against my toes due to severe pain. I had put my NB shoes away for maybe 7 months. I got them out last week to wear to a friends house who I hadn't seen in 11 years (didn't want them to see my feet not only due to the nasty toes but my psoriasis is bad on my feet). Soon after I put my NB shoes on they felt shorter than they used to and I definitely felt the big toes rubbing against the shoe. I had a lot of pain after wearing them 2 hours. So I quickly found new shoes! Upon a recommendation from a friend on a neuropathy support group I checked out Saucony.com. I found these shoes and read a good portion of the good reviews and all the bad reviews since there weren't many bad ones. I checked Amazon to see if I could get them cheaper, I could, by $10, plus since I'm a Prime member I got free 2-day shipping which turned into free overnight shipping!!I've worn these shoes for a few days now and I have NOT had any issues with my toes or feet hurting. They required NO break in period at all. These are the most cushoned shoes I have ever tried. I am thrilled! The toe box is wide enough as well as tall enough not to rub against my toes. But the shoe does not look abnormally large in the toe area at all. The only time I feel my toe rubbing on the top of the shoe is if I lift my toe up higher than when I do when walking. They are flexible enough for me and provide comfort when walking. I have not noticed any abnormal rubbing anywhere. I am so happy with my purchase I will try to buy this brand from now on.The only thing I do not like about these shoes are the laces that come with them. They seem like they will be easy to untie on their own. They are a pasticy feeling material that are not flat but more round though not as round and dense as boot laces. I am glad I also purchased the Lock Laces for these. I expect those to be delivered tomorrow.

Most comfortable walker EVER !!
Great walker! I got both the tan suede & the white pair. Most comfortable of any I have tried. Used to buy expensive running shoes, but these are better & can buy 2 for the price of one compared to the running shoes. Plus they seem to give better support since I only walk and not really a runner. I have had both knees replaced, neck & back surgery & these seem not to aggravate me. The toe box is wide & deep enough for toes not to rub on the top of the toe box. Toes splay out better so not to feel squished together. Height of the ankle area does not rub the ankle bones, so thats good. Comfortable insert, but i can also use my orthotic, by removing insert & replacing with my own. It does not take up enough room that shoe feels too tight, another plus. I got my regular size & width in the tan model, but opted for the wide in the white. I like the wide better, but its not too wide & does not look so wide. Leather was soft ,pliable & flexable so can use right out of the box with very little break in time, if any. Very happy with this model. I tried the progrid omni, but the toe was too narrow & more on the pointy side so toes felt cramped. The St2 was more rounded/ square & had more room for your toes. Heel does not slip, another plus for the St2. As an older senior citizen, I appreciate being able to find a shoe for my needs that doesn't break the bank !! I hope they NEVER stop making this model, & don't change it for a " New or improved " one. It ain't broke, DON'T try to fix it.I love this model, as you can tell, but everyone is different so you must try for yourself, this is just my experience from trying many brands, ( Brooks, New Balance, Asics, you name it)

Great shoes!
During my search for a black leather walking shoe that would accommodate my orthotics, wide forefoot and a hammertoe, I read many helpful reviews. Due to my foot issues, which include arthritis and one foot a half size shorter and narrow than the other foot, I usually have to order 2 or 3 pair before finding the right fit. This was the first shoe I ordered and I was surprised that it actually met all my criteria. I wear a half size larger in an athletic shoe, and I ordered a wide width to accommodate the forefoot of my wider foot. The fit is accurate for the size and width I ordered. Plenty of toe room and enough depth for my orthotic. However, I could not add the shoe's native insole over my orthotic, as there was extra cushioning in the heel of that insole which, combined with my orthotic, raised my heel too high. I found a cushioned insole that had a concave heel, and that works perfectly. The shoes themselves have good cushioning, which helps when you're walking on hard plastic orthotics. I make a loop with the laces through the last two eyelets which is effective in snugging the heel so my heel doesn't slip due to the wide width. The other advantages of these shoes is that the leather is soft rather than stiff, and the shoes are very lightweight, even in a 10.5 wide. I'm also pleased with the stability of these shoes, as the sole and heel aren't too high.

The only running shoes my wife will wear
These were quite common back in the 90s and early 2000s but became harder to find. These seem to be the only running shoes my wife really likes and every pair we buy (even on line orders) fit her just perfect and they last for years and years.

Good fit
The shoes fit well, and I was pleased with the price. I had ordered a number of items, and they came in two shipments. I decided to sign up for temporary prime delivery to try it out. The orders did not come any faster, but it was the emails that came each time saying they had attempted delivery, but we were not home. We were home both times, and even outside the first time so we know no attempt was made. Very disappointing.

FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE FEET THAT ARE HARD TO FIT FOR WIDTH, LENGTH ETC. THIS IS THE PLACE TO LOOK
THE WHITE SAUCONY LACE UP SHOES AREE JUST WHAT I WANTED FOR WALKING. THE PRICE WAS GOOD AND I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GET THE SHOES IN A SIZE 10AA WHICH WAS GREAT AS IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND NARROW FITTING SHOES. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY WERE LEATHER BUT I SAW LEATHER SHOES LIKE THEM ON A DIFFERENT SITE AND THEY WERE DOUBLE THE MONEY. THEY FIT REALLY WELL AND ARE VERY COMFORTABLE.
