3 Piece 1/2" Dr Deep Impact Sockets Set for Alloy Wheels 17 19 21mm

Ideal kit to keep in your car. My alloy wheels with summer tires have 21 mm bolts, but my alloy wheels with winter tires have 19 mm bolts, which means the tire changing kit that came with the car would be useless in winter time. Now I don't need to worry about not being able to change my tire, no matter what time of the year it is. The sockets fit perfectly over the bolts, and the plastic cover protects my alloys from getting damaged. I also bought a 1/2" torque wrench (  Silverline 633567 Torque Wrench 1/2-inch Drive 28 - 210Nm  ) which fits perfect with these sockets. I hope I only have to use them when I'm changing my winter tires for summer tires, vice versa.The plastic box is a little bit bigger than I expected, but it still fits in a small compartment of my car, so that's not a big deal.

I like the colours and my wheels like the polymer protection. A bit disappointed by the case. Comes with a nice foam holder however no sturdy case. Wanted to have them all in my car for any situation but have opted for only the one I need. It stays attached to the breaker bar so it does not roll about in the boot. Was not sure the others would be secure in the foam so they stay at home. Nice sockets though.

A mechanic needs the right tools to do the job properly.

Used these to check the torque specs on my car wheel studs after having them replaced. The sockets did the job and seem to be sturdy enough. Nicely colour coded and came in a plastic case as well. Just what I needed
