I bought this to replace a Floxite 10x magnifying mirror that I had for over 20 years. You get what you pay for. The light on my Floxite was broken by my husband when we went to England in 2003. I still used it until I accidentally knocked it off the bathroom counter recently and the mirror broke. I hoped this mirror would be as good quality as my Floxite but it wasn't. I don't think it was actually 10x magnification. Therefore I returned it. I have since ordered another Floxite even though it was much more expensive.

i don't like this mirror really. i had a better one but needed to replace it. i think i will need to put rubber feet on the bottom. but the swivel is also just too loosey goosey... the swivel also sqeaks... it's really high pitched, like nails on a chalkboard. yikes. but the mirror aspect of the mirror works fine. 10x or whatever on one side, regular normal 'ol face on the other. i suppose if you don't move it around at all and it's stationary it could work fine. but if you move it around a lot and need to adjust, get something else.

I purchased this 7” mirror because I needed the larger size. Consequently, it would not be good for travel. It is light weight, however needs to be weighted at the base- too easy to tip over. In addition, it would be great if it had a rubber rim or suction cup there, because I use it on my bathroom countertop, so it can slide easily. I am not dissatisfied with it though- good enough for my purposes.

After perusing a number of mirrors, this suited my needs.Placed on a high bureau with lamp behind, I can apply my eye makeup without concern for error.The clear frame blends well into to surroundings and is a modern look. Pleased.

This is a pretty mirror, but the 10X side is blurry unless you put it right in front of your face. At a distance of even less than arms length you can't see your face clearly. you have to have it less than 5" to see clearly. If you want a mirror to see what's in your eye? or a blemish, this is great. regular side is great.
