So easy to build and no need for tools. I always use a spot of gel superglue on each piece but it isnt necessary if they are to be left as ornimental. I use the glue as visitors always admire them and pick them up. They can be painted but i think they look great in the raw wood retro wooden toy style. So cheap too and being flat packed and smaller than a letter box, the kits make great gifts. I'm working my way through the complete collection... there are LOADS to choose from.

Beautiful work . I found doing the wood craft relaxing and fun to do . Well worth the price . Worth getting similar items to do .

Squirrel. It may be me but the instructions are rubbish. The wood used is good and overall it should be a nice creation. I put it 50% together and took it apart again (with difficulty as the parts are perfectly made for each other!).

This is one of the easier prices to put together. My sister loved it

Adult activity with early onset dementia. It was very successful.Any smaller and it would have been difficult for a large handed man.Glue was needed for parts that didn't quite sit right ( ears ) But overall it was a good project that went on to painting it.

Difficult to assemble

Made this with my 7 year old grandson. Instructions are virtually non-existant, but it's not that difficult to put together. It holds without glue. Trying to insert the eyes was awkward - looking back we should have glued them in place before building the squirrel. It is a lovely addition to out mantelpiece and a source of pride for the young 'un.

Good for the price but unfortunately the pieces aren't numbered so it's a little less straightforward with putting together although there aren't many parts to this one which even out the difficulty. It doesn't stand very well as the tail is a little heavy.With a coat of Danish oil it looks quite cute.
