I've been using burt's bees chapstick for a years, but I've been wanting something with more sustainable packaging. This lip balm is thinner than burt's bees but still work quite well. I haven't had chapped lips, but I do find myself having to reapply more often. I've been using it for almost two months and am still on my first out of four. Some reviews did say that the cardboard applicator was hard to use, because of pushing out to much product. Personally I haven't had a hard time with it. If to much product comes out, I'll just push it back in when applying the lip balm. Overall I would recommend this product as a sustainable swap.

I initially purchased one without expecting much. But it glides so smoothly! I love it! I ended up buying four more so I keep it everywhere in the house and in my purse. My toddler keeps putting it on his lips as well haha. At least, I'm not worried since it's supposed to contain no toxic materials.

Smells incredible but dries quickly and has to be reapplied more frequently than I prefer. It feels very similar to EOS lip balm and I love that it has cardboard packaging.If you'd rather have something that seems to last longer between applications, I'd recommend Poppy and Pout.

Tried this chapstick for the first time. I wanted one with better ingredients and found this one. I really like it! It doesn’t have a smell, it goes on smoothly and feels hydrating. It took some getting used to the packaging just because it’s not the regular plastic ones that twist up. But I get over that for sure because it’s much healthier.

Doesn't smell like anything, doesn't taste like anything, feels like heaven!! AND it isn't even poisoning me?!!My lips crack and bleed every winter and I've struggled with cold sores all my life and I've tried so many just terrible, garbagey garbage lip balms for the past decade+ at this point. I've never been so pleased with a lip balm as this attitude one.. honestly it's a small dream come true.And the tube is perfectly fine. Y'all need some actual hardship in your lives if this cardboard tube is too much for you. Small children eat treats out of tubes like this ffs you can do it too. Push it up from the bottom with your finger, push it back down with your lips if need be, go back in time and stop yourself from eating all that lead as a child.

I bought two of these products, one mint and one unscented. There is a lot of product in each container so it will last for quite awhile. They both have plant oils in them which I have seen before in creams and lotions. The mint has mint oil in it which I can feel sinking into my lips at night. It has definitely helped take away even more chapping on the lips.

The product is good, made my lips soft. I love that there is no plastic, but it is so hard to use. If you move the balm up and try to use it, it slides back in with normal lip pressure. So, you reset it thinking oh I've done something wrong, let me try again. Nope, just crappy design. Wish it was worth my time to return it, and I don't want another.

The balm itself is fine but the packaging makes the product unusable. It wobbles around in the cardboard and does not apply to lips unless you hold the bottom with your finger. It’s a bummer. I really wanted to like the plastic free packaging. (Burt’s Bees and Poppy & Pout have cardboard packaging that works for anyone who is looking)
