Looks good but only 2 year life.
It was easy to install. Easy to link up with the other some detectors and they look good. However, I bought this item in October 2019. It has a 10 year battery, the label on the detector says renew 2028, but today, 11 Feb 2021, it starts to chirp indicating to renew the detector. The manufacturer has vastly overestimated the battery life. Less than 2 years life! This battery cannot be replaced so a new one is required. This is pretty poor from a premier product. Please sod this out!

Quality product
I have 5 of these FireAngel Smoke detectors interconnected with 2 heat detectors and a Carbon monoxide detector. Easy to install and setup the WiFi connection. Two units suffered battery failures in the first year of their 10 year life expectancy but were replaced by FireAngel straight away, what can you say, excellent customer service.

FireDemons: malfunctions, short lives and BAD customer service. Cannot be trusted.
In 2019 I bought six FireAngel alarms: three CO detectors, two smoke alarms and one heat alarm. The concept of linking them was appealing, the reality is not.It was difficult to “pair” all six of them. In fact, I never did get them all paired into a single network. I emailed FireAngel’s customer service to ask for assistance. They told me to ask the retailer. That was it. End of customer service!Instead I had to make do with two three-alarm networks.Three or four months later the real issues began. The alarms began to malfunction. It would happen at any time of day or night. An alarm would sound, in error, and because to them being linked, you never knew immediately which one was faulty. It could be any of them. Any and/or all! Then I realised the disadvantage of the linking concept, especially with flawed and unreliable devices like FireAngel.Fortunately I had no issues unpairing them, which is obviously better. The false alarms became less frequent and for close to two years they behaved well. No false alarms, and responded to my monthly testing. Then in 2021 one of the smoke alarms had a complete malfunction and would false alarm every few days. Eventually I threw it out. It’s expiry date was 2029!The last 18 months have been fine. The alarms only sound when I hid the test button. Until l this summer. Four of my remaining five alarms are emitting “bip” sounds. The sound an alarm gives when its battery needs to be replaced. But these are alarms with non-replacement 10-year internal batteries. They’re all dated to expired in 2029… seven years time.Of my six original FireAngel alarms, I have disposed of five of them within four years.

Battery life poor
As others have said the battery life is no where near advertised. Lasted less than 4 years. Unreliable connectivity. Over Wi-Fi. Wouldn’t trust this device to activate in a real fire. Would be surprised if it is not a fake. Would not recommend at all.** update **I have now spoken with Fire Angle and in all honestly they were fantastic. They have ordered me a replacement device which will be sent via Royal Mail. It is an alternative product but is out of stock.I mentioned the flakey connectivity and they helped me reset all my devices and reconnect them. It turned out that my older CO2 alarm was the host for the WiFi connection. It would appear they have to go throug a master device. This may also cause the devices to be in constant search mode.It took a few attempts to try and reset the device and of course the battery is now low so they are replacing it.I have upped my stars to 4 as this is now going to be resolved but I need to wait for the new device. I am really glad I gave them a chance to rectify the issue.

First impressions are great - 20m through garden & windows connectivity
I've just spent a small fortune building an office in my garage which is about 20m line of sight of my kitchen back door. I was looking for a smoke alarm that phones me up (SMS is useless) but I could only find burglar alarms with that feature. Then I came across this. Although our home already has many of the standard cheapo smoke alarms, I needed something to alert me when there was a fire in my garage without setting off all the smoke alarms in the house. The FireAngel heat alarm was perfect in the kitchen above the hob linked to this smoke alarm in the office. The wireless networking works really well over 20m of garden. Fantastic. Shame they're so expensive but it's worth it.I note the 1* reviews with interest and will report back if there are issues. Mine have a replacement date of 2025 so they were manufactured this year.

Loud and functional
We have these throughout our home. They are very loud (I can’t stand to be underneath it when testing) and the wireless interlink systems means if one goes off the other do to. So far battery life seems to be good (supposed to be 10 years), easy to install, and seems to be very reliable! Better looking than my old ones!

Perfect for what we needed
Great product and works perfectly as expected . We had a garage conversion where our utility room now is which is why we wanted linked alarms to the upstairs in main house where we sleep. We had no problem linking them together and they worked really well. Would definitely recommend. Hope we never need to use them but I’m confident they will work if we do.

False Alarms
I have a network of seven alarms, bought in 2018, and until they were three years old they performed as they should. Now they are frequently false alarming, almost aways during the night and any of them can be the source of the alarm. They also like to chirp in sequence during the night, one after another, and then do it again an hour later.I don't know how or why it happens at night but it is too much to take, I will go back to stand alone cheap detectors that can be binned when they false alarm.

Ottimo
Lo utilizzo sopra la stufa a pellet e funziona bene appena sente il fumo fa un suono scritto che ti svegli
