I've been comparing travel kettles on Amazon and decided to go with this one because of its appearance, its 316 stainless steel, and also its temperature presets. It boils water faster than I expected, and the temperature is quite accurate! I used my thermometer to check and it was usually within a couple of degrees. I usually set it to 176 for matcha, and when the kettle reaches that temperature, it beeps to let you know but since it stops heating at 176, the temperature does overshoots to 180ish but comes down gradually. I think this is completely normal, you cannot expect a kettle to reach exactly 176 without overshooting right? This kettle is so convenient because when you're traveling, sometimes the hotel doesn't always have a kettle. Also, if you're serious about your tea or coffee, it eliminates having to bring a thermometer. Highly recommended! The only thing is I wish we could switch between F and C. I see in previous reviews that it used to be in Celcius but they switched it to F, probably for Americans...

Cool product. I bought because I needed a portable heater for my job on the road that could handle international electrical. It doesn’t disappoint for heating water. Here’s my issues:1.) It’s small. So small in fact that when trying to make a cup of tea in the morning you will barely get 8oz if your luck after pouring it in with tea leaves.2.) It has boil protection but you have to select temperature hold as soon as it’s done. So if you start it in the shower and miss the beeping, you will have cooling water as soon as you get to it.3.) I don’t think the temps are correct. 176 created a boiling that was so painful I couldn’t pick up my tea mug afterwards. Extremely hot.4.) The beeping is super quiet. Very hard to hear if you’re next to the air conditioner in your room.Yes, I will keep the product. High quality steel that travels well and does international voltages. They are the only product I’ve seen. I’m excited for version 2.0, hopefully my suggestions help. Please don’t make it any fatter, and if you go taller, don’t get higher than a standard luggage work tote. Thanks

It works perfectly. Build is solid, just feels like a nice thermos, maybe slightly heavier. Has a watertight cover for the removable ac cord. Vented cap so you can leave cap on while using. There are two buttons, you just add water and select from several temp presets and press start. Boils in less than 5 minutes. Beeps when it reaches temp. Keeps hot water hot for quite a while. Can store the cord inside the thermos when not in use.I purchased for overlanding, in winter I camp in the back of an suv, I can boil water off an inverter or a power bank (300w) almost as fast as a butane stove (under 5min)without tempature limitations(butane doesn’t like below freezing temps), risk of fire, Carbon monoxide or me and my gear getting burned/melted. It allows me to make hot beverages and dehydrated meals easily, it fits in a cup holder so you could even use while driving.

This is a great little portable kettle and is one of the few all stainless steel dual voltage kettles available, if not the only one. It heats up quickly and even has a few different preset temperatures. But it also has a digital temp readout so you can unplug when it reaches your desired temp if different than the preset. The only downside is that it can only hold around 300 ml.

I really like that i can boil hot water for tea or instant noodles anywhere, anytime. You just need a socket and you’re good to go. You can even choose which temperature you want for different things like green tea, so it’s not so hot that you burn your tongue. The only thing to remember is to not overfill it because the water will get out while boiling since you boil water with the cap off. Great for travelling.
