Strap takes some fiddling, but otherwise great
Take some time to figure out the strap, watch the videos others have posted. Works great once you get it set up.

Great size
I just love these mini clipboards.I use them while in the nav seat for notes in the aircraft, rally car, and on grid at track days. Super handy, easy to wear. Large enough to be useful, small enough to be unobtrusive.

Would give 5/5 but I need a bigger base plate
Build quality is very nice, extremely easy to use, and 100% keeps my checklists and paperwork organized. Serves its function well. Only complain is the size of the base.

Strap is not too long
Good product, strap takes a sec to figure out, but is not too long. First loop strap around leg feed strap through plastic piece the pull secure. Then insert strap over one side into the hole then under the board and back out through the other hole. Strap should hang over (top of both sides). Finally attach Velcro to preferred sizing.

it is what it is- but really quite small. Save your money and see and feel before you buy.

Great first kneeboard for students!
Have taken this board up as a student pilot, for about 20 hours total. Still working great and elastic holding up super well. Accidentally crunched it under my seat one day when sliding it forward during preflight, and you can't even tell - took it like a champ!

I’m not an elephant
If you want a clipboard with a strap, here ya go. The typos for the VFR minimums are laughable and the leg strap is meant for an elephant sized leg. However, I am keeping these. Two clipboards (that seem decent quality) are worth the price plus a little extra work to modify them. However these are not useable right out of the box.
