Retell 145 Phone Call Recording Adapter

Having had some issues with various companies I decided to by this item as it seemed to be a simple set up. Simple it was.. works with my cordless phone no bother. There's no static sounds or interference. Comes with connectors and cables. Good quality. Has paid for itself twice over already.I use it with Sony ICDPX333.CE7 PX Series.

Works OK but does not 'balance' the incoming and outgoing circuits

Purchased this to replace an old cheap connection that plugged into between a handset and base unit of a standard phone. Although the older connector worked well the phone I had it plugged into did not so I needed something that would allow me to connect to a DECT phone base. This kit is almost the only one available and I saw it in many places, but I was cautious as at over £15 it seemed a bit expensive compared to a few very low cost connectors. It has now proven over several months of daily use to be worth the price.I record many phone calls (it saves disputes later) and the sound quality is very good - I haven't noticed anything but very slight background noise on the line and both sides of the conversation are a similar volume. The lead that connects to the recording device is a good length at around 1m. My main phone is a 7 year old Panasonic DECT and is connected to the ReTell 145 by a standard BT lead and plug. I record with a Sony ICDPX333 dictaphone, which has a phone setting, which does improve the sound quality slightly . I have also tried an old Olympus dictaphone, which was a bit too low a volume to be usable. I also tried a cheap generic dictaphone bought on Amazon and that was acceptable volume, although the quality of the recording was not as good as with the Sony device.From my experience I would recommend this device. It appears to be suitable for almost any home phone that has a standard BT lead and connector, which includes DECT base units.

This device records OK on a voice recorder that is running but will not activate the voice activation function. So the voice recorder cannot be left connected to the system to be switch on when a call comes in. For me this is totally useless.

The retell makes only noise. Not usable for me. Fast shipping and excellend support. Thanks!

A simple and effective device, enabling quality recording of both sides of important telephone conversations. Works well with a high quality Digital Audio Recorder. Perfect for turning the tables on lying insurers, disingenuous utility companies and banks, and anyone else who thinks they can get away with telling you anything to get what they want. .

Well packaged, but didn't work upon receiving it. However, the seller was very good and quick for replacing it. Sadly that didn't seem to work well either. The review rating is NOT a reflection of the seller, more of the manufacturer that make it... Personally I wouldn't bother with this branding again.
