Back in 2011, I bought a commercial desk that has served it purpose. It was sturdy and lasted a long time. Thickness of it was about 2". In getting this new one I realized it was only 5/8" thick and a bit "weaker" than my prior one. I suppose I would compare it to IKEA style desk. I gave it 4 stars for sturdiness, it don't wiggle, but there is a slight weakness to it that a commercial style desk would not have. BUT, for this being a home office desk, it is a solid purchase for the money. I found the instructions to be VERY EASY to read and assemble, even for the not so handy person, I think you could get it together yourself very easily. I did NOT have any issues with hardware fitting and getting tight. They even gave extra parts so that you won't find yourself missing a part. I like the options that I got with the small drawers and second level storage. I'm very happy with that. As for the 3 motors, its VERY smooth and quite. I hope that last many years to come. I also like that you can program 3 work levels, that is a nice option and easy to transition to sit or stand. OH how it is NICE to not have to sit in my chair all day. I did buy a 1" mat to stand on which helps ease the back issues.

Okay first of all this desk is fabulous. The height range alone is magnificent. And then to add the shelf underneath and on top giving me plenty or space for all of my work gear with space to spare. It's beautiful and sturdy. I would recommend to put it together as you receive the packages. Mine came in two shipments so I put the top together with wood glue. Then when the legs came a couple of days later I was able to get all of that put together in about 45mins. You'll want two people to flip it over but I built everything else by myself. So it's not difficult to put together by any means. Highly recommended!

This desk is great and I love the 3 preset settings you can select. It was difficult to put together but manageable after 5 hours with two people working together. I would have loved a few more of the ties to assist with the cable management but we management with some we had around the house.

First, I was fortunate not to have opened the package the first day I got it since only half of it was delivered, and I would have been fairly upset to find that out. The second half was delivered the next day with no indication that this was coming on two separate days at all. Second, the assembly on this thing is an absolute nightmare. It is super involved and takes a lot of space. I was absolutely sore the next day after all of the up and down I was doing just trying to get it operational. That being said, however, I absolutely adore this desk. It is great to be able to set the exact heights that I want and push one button to get it to the perfect standing position for me without having to fiddle with it again and again, and then do the same again when I'm ready to sit. Seriously, it's a workout to put together, but the value for the price can't be beat!

I already owned the straight 6 foot desk, but I prefer the L shaped, especially when I have 2 laptops and 2 -27" monitors on my desk at all times.

I am thoroughly impressed with this purchase! Fits my dual monitor setup and the tower as well. Heavy and sturdy. The motor is fairly quiet when raising or lowering the table. I think my only complaint is that after having it I wish the inside corner of the desk was angled like the shelf on top. Personal preference as I like my main monitor to be in the corner position of the desk. I also had room to add a 12 outlet surge protector bar to the underside of the desk which has been great for my cable management.

I think it's a great desk. It moves smoothly and fast, the memory settings are great, and it is sturdy. Building it by myself took a few hours but wasn't the worst thing in the world. While I think it is a tad expensive, I would have rated this desk 5 stars but I am disappointed with is that the screws provided are longer than the desktop "wood" is deep. What this means is that when you are screwing things on from the bottom, like the legs, the screws poke through the top side of the desk, the side that you actually see and use, and it ruins the smooth and perfect top. I read a review that mentioned it and was as careful as I could be to not poke them through and still had this issue because otherwise it wasn't as sturdy. This seems like a very big design flaw. Someone in design/manufacturing needs to switch out the screws for an appropriate size. The desk is great but this totally ruins it, especially when it is more expensive than many other options available.

Got this for my home office! I wanted to stand more and I honestly never sit anymore! I've got everything set up and fits all my work needs. And the fact the entire thing raises, not just the black ones you see that sit on desks... NO! This is the way.
