Hi, it has no cable it is battery operated and a switch.

I haven’t seen a plug version. The battery life depends on what ‘make’ battery you buy. If your planning on having the light on all night - I don’t think it would last.

Q: Does the colour of the light change, or does it stay the same, and what colour? Also, how do you turn on and off?

The colour doesn’t change, it’s a white light. There’s a small switch on the side that turns if on and off! This looks great on the wall my son loves it.
