This fits the bill perfectly. It is comfortable for a laptop bag - I wouldn't take it on a long walk - and seems sturdy, especially the zippers. It is also shower proof. It has a surprising amount of room and it is easy to access the laptop. The small pocket on the left strap just about fits a travel pass, as I tend to keep mine in my wallet it's not much use to me. If I had one complaint, it would be the absence of a small, quick access pocket on the top of the bag but that's just nit-picking.
