Max FactorSkin Lionizer Foundation, 40 Light Ivory

I bought this make up when my usual Max Factor was sold out (Colour Adapt) and I needed it for a holiday. I was a little worried that it may be more difficult to apply because the colour adapt is more like a mousse than a standard foundation but I was very pleasantly surprised.It's very easy to apply, doesn't leave any streaks or irregular shading/colouring. It covers extremely well and leaves my skin looking flawless with a hint of dewy luminescence.I've read other reviews that state this contains glitter but it doesn't, it's not a glittery/shimmery shine that it gives it's more of a dewy, fresh look. It stays on all day without needing to top up, I wore it on a weekend city break at a concert on the first day where it stayed perfect despite the heat, lights and humidity and all day and night on the second day without having to top up - my make-up still looked flawless!It is quite light, it's not an 'obvious' thick foundation however if I do want a thicker coverage then it also applies very well over my colour-adapt foundation, sometimes I'll just apply a little over the top to cheeks and forehead as a highlighter.I'm very impressed with this foundation and will be purchasing regularly now alongside the MaxFactor Colour- Adapt foundation.

Love this foundation. Leaves skin smooth and flawless when used wit a pressed powder. The make up is light weight on the skin and not at all greasy. It is thicker than some liquid foundations but gives a lovely even coverage. The light ivory is suitable for fairer skin colours (i am natural blonde with no tan/pale skin). The foundation is excellent at covering dark eye circles too - huge bonus! I believe that max factor have stopped making this now which is very very disappointing so i have stocked up with quite a few to hopefully last me until i can find one i like as much.

With everything closed I decided to take a gamble and order something I’d not used before. Luckily, the colour was perfect. Really good coverage and it certainly lasts all day, although I do have to reapply some face powder after a few hours due to oily skin, but the foundation does not slide off. I’d say I’ve found a product I will stick with for good. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because the foundation smells terrible. Smells a lot like chemicals or something similar, however, once it’s on and blended in you do not smell it. If you can endure a bit of a bad smell for a few minutes while applying then I would highly recommend this product.

I love this. Just bought it for the first time to replace a discontinued product and fine it feels great on the skin. I am in my mid sixties but wanted to avoid the slapped on caked look that some foundations can have on older skin. This gives just enough cover over pores and thread veins (with a touch of concealer) and gives a lovely fresh, healthy look. Surprised and delighted with the result.

The positives: seller dispatched quickly and it was well packed. The colour on my skin is good.The negatives: It feels sticky on my skin and has an unpleasant vinegar smell. It also stings round my eyes.I have bought this before from Amazon and it was lovely. This item differs from the listing pictures as it has brown stripes not white. The bottle looks the same but the design and address details are slightly different. Possibly it was an export product line but sadly I suspect it is a fake.I am rather annoyed as I purposely chose a slightly more expensive one from a seller with a better rating. Judging by the other comments all the sellers are selling the same item!

I love this product. It makes my skin look smooth and even-toned, + remains shine-free all day. However I find it too thick to use as it is and mix it with a tiny amount of almond oil, which helps thin the product and also applies much easier. Highly recommended.

This is the best foundation I have ever bought. It does not look orange or unnatural in any way. When it is on the skin it doesn't appear as patches and certainly matches the luminizer name as skin appears healthy and natural. I am prone to breakouts and this covers those with ease. It also stays put all day and doesn't become heavy or a different colour to the start of the day. Buying another- very impressed

I have bought this product numerous times over the years in porcelain. Its meant to be like the one on the right of photo with a luminous creamy streak running through it and in the advertising pics, hence "skin luminizer" but the one bought is the one on the left and the streak is a murky brown in colour. Not sure whether it's gone off or ??? Is it an export. But the packaging and writing is different to all the other ones bought. So frustrating as I love this and can't find it anywhere.

I have EXTREMELY dry skin. This is the only foundation I've found that doesn't crack/flake off when I apply it. It's light weight, nicely covers redness on my face.
