Nice looking fan but!
The fan looks nice and is quiet when running. It also has a summer winter reversing switch which is a good feature. Unfortunately that switch is on the fan. Not so good in my case as the fan is hanging at a height of 4.5m. the biggest dissapointment was when I realised it doesn't fit straight in the gable of any reasonably steep roof as the rod that holds the fan itself is very short. You have to buy a longer rod for 26 pounds. For that amount of money I expected the rod to come with a longer electrical loom so it can actually be used but it does not. Worse even, I can't find a longer loom for sale so I had to splice the original short loom to lengthen it. The electrical loom was one of the best features as it is nicely made and labeled. Easy to connect up but totally spoiled if it then becomes unusable as it is. I bought the walnut coloured version. The blades are made from very cheap softwood and then stained dark. The colour has nothing to do with the colour of any walnut I have ever seen. It's a good fan but not as nice as it looks in the pictures.

Really happy I purchased
I was concerned about instability from other reviews but it came with weights to fix that.After I installed, I expected a long process to balance - but it is totally balanced out of the box. Bonus!

Fantastic
A real quality piece which not only looks really good, but is very quiet even on high. Installation by the electrician went well with just a few adjustments at the end for balance.

Stunning piece of furniture
