Taste good just a bit more mustardy than regular burger sauce

The chefs larder burger sauce used to be the holy grail of all sauces.I slathered this on any dish that warranted it, I would order from my favourite kebab house with no sauce and then coat it beautifully with this golden nectar. Heaven. I’d even take my own tub to friends and family’s bbq’s, it was my baby.Due to supply issues this product disappeared for a while so I had to use the burger sauce from the kebab house. This was vinegary and never up to standard; let me tell you it was a sad time for both myself and the kebab shop as my orders slowly dwindled to being non-existent. I’d pay the extra and get a cheeky Chinese instead but I always longed for that sweet tasting burger sauce.Suddenly this product was back, all be it with a new recipe and a much higher price tag to match… exciting times I thought (although why change something that is already top tier?).I took the plunge and stumped up the cash, my chefs larder burger sauce withdrawal symptoms had become too much for me.It arrived and I was like a kid on Christmas morning, as soon as the kebab opened I ordered an extra large meal to maximise my taste experience and prolong my little piece of heaven. How wrong I was. The sauce was poor at best, so bad in fact that both the Heinz burger sauce and crucials brand easily beats it. I was devastated to say the least, the sauce is now runny and very vinegary, the polar opposite of all the qualities that used to make this the sauce of the gods. If I could send it back I would. How you can change a sauce to be 100x worse is beyond me, and also expect the consumer to pay even more for this pathetic attempt at a burger sauce is quite frankly… a joke.Would not recommend to even my worst enemy. It’s been a sad few days in my household, half tempted to hold a funeral and bury this sad excuse for a sauce in my garden; although it would probably kill all the wildlife as god knows what they’ve put in this.Would give 0 stars if I could.

Not a bad taste and good value, but I would check the expiration date straight away as we had received stock that was about to expire. Besides that little issue, no problems. We've been buying these sauces since we've found them on Amazon.

Without doubt, the best burger sauce around! It tastes amazing!

Good flavour when compared to better known products, but the ingredients aren't perhaps a wholesome.
