Boat fires right up after I installed this pump

Installed on a 2013 40-60hp etech. Fixed fuel issue. Fuel pump connector is different. You might need to splice a different connector for the provided pump. I use a high-end quantum pump with this.

Doesn’t fit properly, bottom hose isn’t able to snap securely into place.

Purchased a used 2014 Evinrude ETEC for my 1988 McKee Craft. After mounting the motor and attempting to start I noticed the fuel bulb would not get hard. Motor cranked but would not fire up. I also noticed that fuel was dripping from the side casing. Looking further revealed that the fuel pump and VST had broken connectors and fuel was squirting out somewhere near the fuel pump/VST when cranking. Ordered this unit, installed it, and motor fired up nicely. Took the boat out for a sea trial and motor runs great! Very pleased with this VST! NOTE: The fuel pump connector did not match the connector on my 2014 ETEC 90 so I did have to cut and splice in the old connector.
