It's a GOOD decaf
Lets face it: decaf coffee is like Alcohol-Free Beer ... if you like yours weak then this will probably satisfy you. It's all relative ... someone who likes a dark-roasted, full-bodied hit in the morning will not find it in this, or ANY decaf to my mind. If I drink a double-shot of the coffees I like most, I will get an instant light headache and possibly some heart palpitations ... "Give-up strong coffee" said my GP ... no chance. I cut a strong dark roasted bean 50/50 with this brand of decaf and I get a compromise I can live with. I will buy some full caffeine S&T and see how they blend.

A delight to drink
Decaf in general is hard to find when you only buy the sparkling water/CO2 varieties to avoid chemical extraction. This is a new supplier for me, so was a little nervous, especially as I was tasked for the office decaf drinkers to find a new batch.Well, let me tell you as soon as I opened the S&T beans I was impressed. When I ground and brewed up immediately, I think I did say "wow". I certainly need not have worried it might be something cheap and flavourless. The total opposite (and yes I am fussy coffee drinker), after travelling East Africa and tasting many coffees, including staying on plantations. Ok, this coffee is Peruvian and not African, but I don't see that as a compromise in any way.For me the taste is full bodied, but not heavy or bitter. It has lovely after-notes of chocolate, nut and slight caramel. Everyone's taste is different, but you won't be disappointed, so give it a go. We'll be back for more when we have used up this kilo. While slightly more expensive than some of the non-descript 227g bags in supermarkets - you get what you pay for and this is nicely sold in decent quantity bags.

Bought this for a friend and it was very well received!
My best friend is impossible to buy presents for, but he DOES like decaf coffee, so I did my research. This one came highly recommended, with the sparkling water process mentioned in several articles as the best method for decaffeinating coffee without ending up with a chemical or burnt after taste. While I couldn't afford some of the really highly praised coffees, this uses the same procedure and the reviews were great. Plus, excellent value for money - as well as being highly rated, you get a lot more for your money with this coffee than you do with most other top-rated brands. As I've not drunk it myself, I don't know what it tastes like, but my friend, who is quite the coffee aficionado, loved it! He said it was the best decaf coffee he'd had. Other reviews can provide you with more detail, but from what I can tell, this lived up to those reviews.

Best defaf coffee
Best decaf coffee i have ever try ed. I was just interested in this brand cause i was reading online that its one of the best manufacturers in UK and they make decaf coffee so decided to try even though its a bit on the expensive side. When i opened the bag the beans looked nice, the smell was great and the taste was even better, the only thing i thought was WOW this is tasty. Just for fun i decided to try my old one for comparison 'Lavazza Dek'. Yeah..the difference was obvious Spiller & Tait was way better.

Exceptional decaff
I love everything about this coffee - I bought a bean to cup machine (to save the planet from my coffee pods) just before my GP told me to cut out the caffeine (!) and I have spent some time trying to find decaff that tastes as good as caffeinated. And here it is.The only drawback for me is that as a person living alone, I'd like 2 x 500g bags in the packaging rather than a single 1kg one, as the bag is open for longer than I'd like, however well I fold the top down - hence the 4* for presentation.

As tasty as the caffeinated options but pricey
I buy 1kg bags and the caffeinated versions are about 16 GBP per bag, but this is 23. Expensive but very very nice. I grind my own quite fine and then brew using either a cafetiere or in-cup with a diffuser, for 10-15 mins. Good bold chocolatey flavour, goes well with whole milk.

Top quality Coffee
When I bought a bean to cup Coffee machine I didn't realise it would be so difficult to find quality decaf beans! Thankfully I stumbled across these on Amazon, the taste is great and you wouldn't know your drinking Decaf. Absolutely no chemical taste and a perfect cup every time. I have already ordered 4 bags and have setup a repeat order to make sure I don't run out.Do yourself a favour and don't bother looking any further, you won't regret ordering this Coffee.
