This is the only gel I use. It holds up great and I get no flaking when using. It’s perfect for slick backs or wash n gos. Just make sure to read the sizing for this jar . It was on the smaller side but once again reading is key when ordering .

Beware of the packaging!!! My first order was delivered to the wrong addy. Then the second arrived in a gooey mess with all 3 jars open and broken! Luckily, Amazon replaced it! The product itself is amazing!

Shipping box was damp. inside box was wet with gel. Upon opening one container was opened with gel spilled into the box and on the other jars. Apparently it was like this on the shelf before shipping. Gel on the outside was old and somewhat hard.I decided to keep the shipment too much hassle to exchange and end up with the same problem. Also there was no handle as the description on the website.

I used to use Jet Set from Trinidad but can't get it in the USA so trying the Xtreme by chance turns out to be even better than Jet Set style gel. Extreme hold my hair stronger, longer and ells better too.

I want to say that for 19.47, this is an amazing deal. Around 77 ounces and you get 3 of them, that's a steal. Like all others, mine came with some leakage/spillage, and it's unacceptable. I was able to salvage most of my stuff, so it was crazy like the other, but they really need to fix that issue. It seems like they are cheap with the packaging and need to be using some type of packaging peanuts or styrofoam. So things like this won't happen, but it seems like they are trying to save money. Even if they increase the price a little more to prevent this issue, I think it's worth it because you get so much product.

I just recently completed a replacement request for this because unfortunately, whomever is in charge of packaging these large containers didn’t package it well. Be prepared for at least 1-2 of these containers to come to you damaged or the seal may be broken. You most likely will have to place a request for damaged items whenever you order this. I will continue to buy this gel In the future. I just know better now what may happen. It’s the only gel product that doesn’t have harsh chemicals and actually holds my kinky coils in place and defined. The item gets a 4 star because of the handling of the product.
