Big disappointment
I have had Oxalis Green Shamrocks growing for years and wanted to try the purple shamrocks for a change. I was supposed to receive 10 bulbs but when I received this there were about 5 or 6 tiny bulbs which looked very dried out. I figured they are bulbs so they might be a little dried out not a problem and the fact there were not 10 not a big deal because my green one's grow like crazy and spread as well. I received them & the same day I planted them & put them in my window that faces south west. It has been two weeks & not even one sprout. Will need to get them from another supplier as this was not good. The picture shows them today and there is some growth but those are a few green one's I added in the middle. Am hoping to have green in the middle surrounded by purple. We will see what happens.

Very attractive, slow to grow
I seriously like these! But as oxalis they are quite pricey compared to others and don't propagate as well as I'd like. I use a lot of oxalis in my potted plant and I love them as an accent plant. These are the same - really nice accents. But while I can dig the rootstock of other oxalis at the end of the season, these seem to have little stock to dig. And what little you harvest doesn't seem to come back next year.I still really like these, but they seem to be a one-season plant, at least here in the northeast US.

Don't waste your money!!!!!
I purchased these and when I received the bulbs hey were completely dried up. I'd never had them before so I gave it a try anyway and planted them. They never sprouted! I requested a return/refund and reordered them hoping I would get better bulbs based on some of the reviews I read. Unfortunately, there was nothing to return as the bulbs completely disappeared into the soil. My second order was exactly the same.....dried up to the point I'm sure they would never sprout. I planted them anyway just hoping......but NOTHING! I'm out the money for 2 orders because there will be nothing to return. Don't waste your money!!!

Most of them were shriveled
Bought a set of ten, most of them were clearly rotted/dead, but I planted them all in the same pot and hoped for the best. Two came up. Those two have taken 6 months but are getting fairly bushy and pop a new stem every few days. Have been in bloom for over a month constantly.Overall I don’t regret it because I do like the plant and some came up, but I don’t like that 8 out of the 10 were dead on arrival.

Most of them aren't viable
I bought two packs of 10, and got them today. The first one had 20 bulbs, which was great because half of them were black. A couple had tiny sprouts, , and I'm pretty sure they're viable, the rest didn't look great, but they didn't look quite dead yet. The second pack had one viable bulb. The rest were beyond black and turning ashy. I threw them all in a pot anyway, and we'll see what we see. Fingers crossed.

Sprouted bulbs
The seeds arrived this evening 7/6/23 in a timely fashion as expected. The seeds are approximately the size and shape of a small olive pit. I immediately noticed that several seeds/bulbs had sprouted a root. There were a few black ones and some were a brownish color. About a good six or seven had a root but i planted them all anyway just to see if the black ones will end up growing or not. I planted 5 in a medium pot that I already had and the other half I planted outside. So I will update when or if they begin to pop up. In the picture there's only 5 shown because I was so excited that I ran outside to plant them without think about taking a picture of the packaging or the condition of the seeds so you can see the ones that I ended up planting in a pot inside. I will try to remember to update on the progress.

Beautiful shamrocks
I have purchased these bulbs a few times. Not always pretty when they arrive in the envelope. Once I thought they might be rotten, but every time they grew. I would buy again.
