Perfect fit for the keyboard and a great way to protect and style
I recently bought the dust-proof silicone keyboard skin cover for my Logitech K845 mechanical illuminated keyboard, and it exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, the silica-gel material is soft yet snug, and it contours the keys perfectly without bunching or slipping. The key legends remain visible through the cover, so I didn’t lose any usability or backlighting clarity—even with my RGB profile turned up. It’s exactly what I hoped for in terms of fit and protection. In day-to-day use, this skin has been a decision I feel good about. It keeps out dust, crumbs, and hair from getting between the keys (which is a constant issue in my setup). I’ve spilled coffee near the keyboard a couple times now, and the skin acted as a barrier — no drop-down into the crevices, and cleanup was quick with a damp cloth. Typing feel is virtually unchanged: the silicone doesn’t make the keys mushy or dampen the tactile feedback significantly. I appreciate how the keyboard still feels the same while being protected. Another benefit is how this cover preserves the illuminated look of the keyboard. The cover doesn’t block the lights or dull the glow; the legends still shine through cleanly, which was something I was worried about with a colored or heavily textured cover. And because it’s dust-proof and nearly invisible once installed, the keyboard essentially becomes maintenance-free for weeks at a time. Given the quality, performance, and value, this is an easy five-star product in my book—for anyone looking to protect their mechanical keyboard without sacrificing feel or aesthetics, this silicone cover is a very smart move.

Inexpensive. And - effective.
My first one wore out after about two-plus years. It rcvd PLENTY of abuse during that period... (eventually developed a couple of very minor tears/rips, also)... but saved my keyboard from several serious liquid spills. Once, sweetened coffee - a real booger-bear for any keyboard to have spilled into/over it. Another couple of times, it was soda pop – which can be equally catastrophic. And these keyboards are difficult and time consuming to open up to the level of replacing a key. Or cleaning sticky, liquid residues off the motherboard… or in between/under little, close electronic components, for that matter. Or, worse, under large BGA-mounted IC's! I know, because this is my 2nd one of these keyboards. My first one was physically damaged during an overhead re-roofing of my facility, 3 yrs ago (piece of vertical steel conduit dropped on it, from ~ 9'). And I doubt even Logitech offers repair service. (BTW… I successfully sourced the replacement keyboard buttons FROM Amazon!). I haven’t actually checked, but… you know the drill, these days - with electronic, outsourced manufacture… “I’m sorry, but we don’t offer Repair Service. However… I can offer you 10% off the purchase of a new one, Mr. Ever-so-highly-valued Customer.” Off List Price, of course! Right. Thanks, lots! The cover is not perfectly clear, and, thus, somewhat dims the keyboard's keys' attractive lighting. But not toooo awfully objectionably; though the keyboard’s impressive appearance IS somewhat diminished by the cover. However… I’m not out to impress others; so, no biggy for me! Fit is perfect; though I'd prefer if it had little edges belled out over/draped past the actual physical edges of the keyboard's top plate - to entirely eliminate any possibility of liquid spillage entering the keyboard. Unfortunately... I couldn't locate a single cover offering this additional feature. Even outside Amazon (Googled Searched, that is). 95% coverage is far better than none, however. :-) HIGHLY recommended - to protect your expensive Logitech keyboard.

Fun Pop of Color for My Favorite Keyboard
I bought this cover for a little pop of color, since I absolutely love my keyboard but find the original grey a bit boring. It fits well and really brightened up my desk. After a while I noticed some color fading on certain keys, so I ended up buying a second one. It does change the soft, smooth feel of the original keyboard a little, but it still works fine for everyday use. And the typos printed on it make me laugh...like the “Ebter” key. Quirky, colorful, and overall worth it for the fun it adds. Plus, it’s really inexpensive, so I don’t mind replacing it whenever the color starts fading. I forgot to mention that it keeps my keyboard clean!

It’s a silicone keyboard skin…
I purchased this to keep my keyboard looking new and to prevent the oil marks that wear down buttons with use. It’s an exact fit over the keyboard and will achieve what I intended it for. It does affect my typing accuracy a bit as sometimes the buttons don’t depress but I don’t think that’s the skin’s fault, it’s just the design of the keys. The skin is clear and does not change the appearance of the keyboard so I am able to maintain my office’s aesthetic. It’s reasonably priced and doesn’t change the feel of the keyboard significantly. The thickness is probably a trade off between typing accuracy and protection.

Give your keyboard the skin it needs to keep the dust and dirt out of your keyboard.
The color is clear. It fits the keyboard that it is designed for. It is easy to fit over the keyboard but it doesn't cover the keyboard completely as it is not snug. It won't take much for this to come off the keyboard. However, it may be designed this way to allow the keyboard to breath. Breath in that the keys will be easy to access if needed. If something gets underneath they keys. It functions as needed.

Keeping my keyboard and nails safe!
So I have a special edition Sailor Moon keyboard, but I also always wear nails. I don't want my keyboard or my nails to get worn out or ruined due to constant use (gaming). This has helped so very much with this issue, as it's soft and flexible and keeps both my keyboard and my nails safe while being clear enough to not obscure the details on the keyboard. After awhile of use, though, a hole formed in the keys I used the most; however, that's to be expected because I use it so dang much. So I just bought another of the same exact one since I like it so much. I will continue to use these until they no longer work for me, so I definitely recommend! Bonus factor, it obviously keeps dust (and crumbs) out of my keyboard! And it's cheap! Let's go!

Too Shallow for G512
It fits over the keys, but the pockets are way too shallow (¼" - ⅜") for the flat section to rest on the main section of the keyboard, so spills can still get in and potentially ruin your keyboard. Feels and looks about what you'd expect of a silicone keyboard skin, but it doesn't fit the G512 despite my ordering the G512 version.
