Amazing value for money and feels like a real piano
I used to play the piano as a child and set myself a New Year's resolution to pick it up again now I'm nearly 50! My house is too small for a real piano but I didn't want to purchase a basic keyboard as the sound quality is usually plasticky and 'fake'. This MUSTAR piano is wonderful, especially as it was under £150, I was pleasantly surprised. The weighted hammer action keys mimic a real piano perfectly and I love that it's a full sized keyboard. It looks really stylish yet takes up very little space. It comes with a sustain pedal too, which is crucial for anyone who seriously wants to play the piano. The stand was a bit fiddly to put together as the instructions were tiny and not overly clear. Also, the notches on the stand height are quite wide so I found it was either too high or too low - there's a difference of about 10-15cm in height between each notch. I had to turn the stand on its side and rejig the feet in order to find the perfect height. It feels sturdy though (I have it on a carpet) but just make sure the piano is evenly placed on the stand. I'm not sure how much I'll use the various functions, but they're fun to have. The one things it's missing is a metronome, which is a shame as I know other MUSTAR keyboards do have this function. I've had to download a metronome app instead. It comes with a removeable music stand, which is fine, and a sturdily made carry case. The one thing that made me chuckle was the dust cover, which was a purple crushed velvet cloth with purple fringing - my husband asked if we were going to have a séance! I've since bought a separate black felt keyboard dust cover from Amazon which is much smarter.

Good quality
I am not a pianist, so I didn't need a concert level piano. The Mustar digital piano is excellent for my needs. Looks good, solid. Apart from the very high notes the sound quality is very good.

A lot of bang for the buck
How they manage to sell a fully weighted e-piano at that price is a mystery. It's certainly not the quality; nothing looks cheap. Obviously, for this price you won't get the polished shine of a Steinway, but it is solidly built, and the stand is heavy duty class. And you need that, because the keyboard is HEAVY. It comes with a well padded bag, but you would not want to carry 30 pounds for a long time. I'm a total beginner, so I can't compare to a lot of other pianos., but the keys feel pretty much like the real thing. very responsive to heavier or lighter touch. Talking of keys: when I unpacked it, all the whites were stuck, it was like they were just one block. After a bit of panic, I found they had used a strip of transparent sticky tape on the front of the keys to keep them immobile. Eventually, all was ready for the first chord,... and it is ... meh. The sound is a bit tinny, well, you have to cut corners somewhere for that price. On the other hand, with 20 watts it has enough power to entertain a private party. Connect headphones, though, and you're in a different world. Delicious, crystal clear sound, from rumbling bass to the softest "plink" on the high end, it's all there. If you do want to play with speakers, it's probably best to get a decent set of speakers + subwoofer, and connect them to the audio out. Since it's all digital anyway, Mustar also throws in some keyboard features: different instruments, drum samples, split keyboard and a few others. But it all feels just thrown in without thought. Prime example: they boast with 800 different sounds/instruments, which can only be accessed by scrolling through with [+] and [-] keys. They are not organised, just random bundles. I say, ditch the gadgets, replace the drums with a metronome, limit the sounds to 30 carefully curated instruments and you have a classy e-piano. Or go the whole hog and provide an app to access the functions. You have MIDI Bluetooth already. Finally a word on documentation: the instructions for assembly of the stand are like an Ikea nightmare, but if you study it long enough, the information is there. The slim instruction manual contains 7 pages of boiler plate, 6 pages listing all the sounds, rhythms and demo songs, and 3 page for a terse description of al the in/out ports and buttons. This looks like a lot of criticism, but it's all marginal; where it counts, that is sound and keyboard feel, the piano shines. And all that for the price of two nights out in London.

Lack of technical information and support from the manufacturer
The piano is a very functional instrument and seems to be well built. However, I had a couple of questions about the Bluetooth function. It was like pulling teeth to get an answer from the manufacturer. In fact, I never did and after a couple of days of experimenting, I finally figured it out. The manual is fairly useless as well. It's a lovely unit but I've got my fingers crossed in the event I ever need assistance from the manufacturer!

Really good especially for the price.
Just got this out of the box. This is a very good piano for the price. I was unsure whether to buy due to some negative reviews, but it is pretty good. The weighting of keys is better than semi weighted keys, and although my Yamaha digital piano has a little bit more weight, this one is still very good. I can play happily with the key response feeling comfortable and playable as a piano should. The top 5 keys on the right have had a bad review, but they sound exactly the same as an acoustic or Yamaha digital piano, as these keys always sound like this on virtually any piano. I have genuinely played many pianos, both acoustic and digital, and this is much better than I expected. I've bought it so that I can take it out to different places. I would say the only negative is with it's portability, as it is very heavy. The carrying bag though is not bad with sufficient strength and padding. Oh, forgot to mention the sustain pedal, it works as expected. All in all a very good buy. Final little negative, the music stand could be a bit bigger.

Disappointed
Unpacked the keyboard , powered on and tested piano. Instantly could tell there was an issue with the sound and feel of the last 5 keys at the right hand end of the keyboard. Waiting to find out how to return item but not easy so far after a week.

Very nice digital piano
I was very impressed with the quality and sound of this digital piano. I had a bit of an issue which the seller rectified quickly and efficiently. I would recommend both the product and the seller.
