Every bite was deliciously hot to the very end, I have never enjoyed a steak more. With this stone, I feel like I can slow down and take the time to savor and enjoy every bite instead of trying to eat it before it gets too cold. It does take time and planning to get the stone hot enough to cook on, but it is worth the effort. The bamboo tray has a stainless steel insert that catches drippings for easier cleanup. The stone is so smooth and polished that food doesn’t stick and cleanup is easy. It stays hot for a long time, simply amazing! Works great a tray to keep food warm too.

I like the sturdiness of the serving tray - the cooking stone grill set came as advertised with included knives. It also arrived ahead of schedule. It looks very solid - I expect it will last for years. The grill set was also delivered 2 days sooner than promised. I will be checking on line for recipes - and can't wait to use it! Might upgrade to 5 star once I have used it a couple times.

It's fun but doesn't stay hot long enough.

We have a local restaurant that serves "hot rock filets" - we didn't want to pay a mortgage payment to go out so I ordered two of these for my birthday dinner to recreate the concept at home. They are pretty big. There were 6 of us, only 4 of us cooking on them & there was plenty of room. We heated them in the oven at 550º. They stayed hot clear through dinner & still had to let them sit out to cool after. Super fun home dinner party + a fraction of the cost of going out to dinner. And we can do this again and again. Going to take them camping with us too.

Husband loves ordering hot stone dishes when we go to restaurants so really liked the idea of being able to do this at home. Been very fun to cook steaks or fajita vegetables on it. Very easy to use and has great heat distribution. It’s a great size that we can cook enough food for both of us. Also cleans very easily so really glad we tried it.

While it looks very beautiful, the truth is that the stone showed an initial cracked after the 2nd use, and completely finished splitting in half by the 3rd use. At first I wondered if the crack was due to the high temperature, but then I realized “wait a minute! This is exactly what this is supposed to do and endure!”
