KLIM™ Voice Desktop USB Microphone Stand for Computer Laptop PC - Gaming Mic PS4 - New 2020 Version - Red

I bought this mic as a replacement for my gaming headset, as the onboard sound card was not isolated properly on my ASUS G170 Pro gaming Mobo and any microphone connected via the 3.5mm headphone jack created a horrible feedback noise as soon as anything graphically intensive was going on, so I decided to go for a USB mic to get around the problem. This one has worked great, the sound quality is better than my old headset according to people I speak to on skype and discord despite the headset being significantly more expensive, it's plug and play no install required. It also arrived in just 2 days, much quicker than the estimated delivery date, which was a pleasant surprise. Would highly reccomend if you are looking for a cheap but good desktop mic.

Was good quality until it stopped working after a few weeks.Update: I'm pleased to say customer service got straight in touch with me and were extremely helping in trying to fix the microphone. After confirming the microphone was faulty I was offered a replacement. Customer service like this is a rare find. Thank you to everyone involved.

I'm honestly so impressed by this microphone. I'm currently recording a podcast for one of my university projects, and the last microphone I purchased on Amazon was more expensive but broke and didn't sound half as good as this one. It picks up literally all noise, which is good in some respects as it's usually very clear but if you have any trouble with background noise in recordings like me, I would really recommend noise reduction effects on Audacity to remedy the problem, and then it's genuinely like a very high quality sound. I've used a lot of industry standard recording equipment before and for something cheap with high quality, this is what you want. I wish I had read a review like this when I was looking and it would have saved me a different broken microphone! Would highly recommend.

Let's say you are like me -- in your late 30's and you are not the type of guy who owns a "Ferrari red" racing wheel and pedals or gets aroused by the looks of red/black plastic. It might be a bit tough to swallow these looks at first. But after browsing similar mics for a bit and getting discouraged you start thinking "Okay, I will just stuff it under the screen and won't look at it, not a big deal". And it is shortly after its arrival when you realise that no, sir, this thing can't be stuffed under the screen because it's friggin big and has the ergonomic characteristics of a turtle. See, I have a 27 inch screen that has pivoting axes and all. It's sitting quite higher on my desk. But this mic just won't go under it. It's impossible. That ball joint you see there -- it's plain useless. It will only go, wait for it, backwards. And not exactly far. You might think "Okay, it's a ball, it is probably flexible so you can rotate it left and right or something" and you will be wrong. This thing only goes back and forth and I'm not sure why it looks like a ball at all. I'm also not the type of guy who will measure the exact angle but trust me, it's not something you will find useful unless you put the mic in your lap or something. So I started twisting the mic all the ways around so I can put it under the screen -- sideways, upside down, on its back, whatever. It just can't go there. The only way the mic can be placed is in the gap between your screen and your keyboard or at angle somewhere next to the screen which means you won't speak directly into it. And that won't be much of an issue if you are using it for casual Skype, TS or something, but for voice recognition it does not work so well and that was the intended use I have for the mic. To its credit, I like the technology inside it a lot. I like the mute switch, I like the physical gain knob and particularly like the lights that come on when the mic is properly set as input device. Voice quality is good as well. I'd give it 5 if the arm was flexible to much greater extent and colors were more subtle. At this point I'm more of a 3.5.

This mic failed its purpose for existing.I wanted a new desktop mic, wasn't looking for anything superb-radio-quality. Something that will just get me by at a decent price. I found this, seemed to tick boxes, and all these 5 star reviews gave me confidence that perhaps this was the right choice for my requirements.But now, I don't know what any of these reviews are talking about. Perhaps I got the one faulty product, but the mic barely picks up my voice. I've gone through the manual, checked all the settings, maxed out all the volumes, and yet the mic still barely picks my voice up, even when I'm talking with a raised voice right into it - which completely defeated the point of me switching from headset to desktop. If anybody I'm talking to wants to hear me, they have to increase my volume from their end, which is inconvenient and rather embarrassing, because it shouldn't be their job.I'm not one to leave poor reviews, and I usually wait a decent length of time to get the full experience of a product before writing a review, but this was an absolute disappointment. It failed its purpose. In terms of design, the moment I got it, I wasn't sure what to make of it. It looks and feels like a cheap toy, and has no weight. But hey, if it WORKS, then I don't care about the aesthetics. Unfortunately it turns out it functions like a cheap toy too. So ... there you go. I'm not sure how other people managed to give this five stars, but I certainly got what I paid for XD

The mic works great and it was super easy to use. My friends tell me my voice comes through very clearly, even though I actually have it on the arm of the chair beside me. However, so does my audio output from the speakers (completely independent of soundcard). If you have a headset, this will work fantastic for you! If you are recording, software like audacity can filter out the background noise.It seems extremely durable and looks great. Highly recommend it.

Perfect solution for my son's gaming set up. The Sony headset I gave him finally died and we needed a replacement. Researching a replacement I realized that a better solution would be a separate mic/headphones setup. According to most of the information I read headsets many times sacrifice quality in either the microphone or sound quality of the headphones not to mention charging a premium. My son already had a nice pair of the Skullcandy Hesh 2 Bluetooth headphones we could pair it with. I ran across the KLIM Mic on Amazon and it had very positive reviews. I went ahead and purchased them in black and red which perfectly matched my son's rig.They arrived promptly in nice hassle free packaging. I plugged them in and they were ready to go. Easy peezy plug and play! We tested them out right away using the Discord chat program. The sound was crystal clear with virtually no interference from the environment. The mic sounded crisper and cleaner than the Sony headsets. We also used it with Skype and again it was crystal clear. I was very pleased with the result. I was ready to buy a new pair of expensive headsets but instead bought the KLIM for a fraction of the cost and was able to utilize the Hesh 2 headphones we had on hand.I would definitely recommend the KLIM to anyone who is looking to do a separate mic/headphone setup. Good quality mic at a fair price!! Glad I did my research and saved some cash instead of just buying an expensive headset with possibly not as good sounding mic. Thinking of getting this for my own pc setup and using my Lucid LS30 headset strictly for my PS4. In fact I just purchased a pair of AKG headphones from Harman Kardon, the MK550 MKII, that I may use for the same type of setup with a KLIM mic of my own. Anyway my son's definitely a happy gamer!

Habe mir das Mikrofon vor einiger Zeit bestellt und bis heute habe ich keine Probleme damit.Soundqualität:Laut den Aussagen einiger Freunde, mit denen ich mich regelmäßig in Sprachchats unterhalte, hört man meine Stimme sehr klar und deutlich ohne Rauschen/Kratzen oder Popgeräusche. Die Mikrofonempfindlichkeit muss man natürlich individuell anpassen um optimale Qualität zu erreichen. Dies kann man am Mikrofon selbst oder in den Soundeinstellungen am PC schnell erledigen.Zur Spracherkennung kann ich soweit nichts gravierend negatives sagen. Was etwas stört ist die "größe" (kürze) des Mikrofons. Wenn das Mikrofon auf meinem Schreibtisch steht, ist es zu niedrig und ich müsste die Empfindlichkeit voll aufdrehen damit es auf meine Stimme reagiert. Ich muss das Mikrofon also jedesmal wo drauf stellen, damit es erhöht und ungefähr auf Mundhöhe ist.Dafür hält bei mir eine Rolle Klebeband hin..Das Material ist Robust und hat schon den ein oder anderen Sturz auf den Boden ohne Schäden überlebt. Was ich selbst schuld war, dank meiner Kabelunordnung. ;)Am Mikrofon selbst kann man, wie oben schon erwähnt, die Empfindlichleit einstellen. Des weitern kann man das Mikrofon durch betätigen eines Schalters muten oder entmuten. Andere werden beim betätigen des Schalters ein relativ lautes und(bei häufigen benutzen) nervendes Geräusch hören. Weshalb ich mich nicht am Mikrofon selbst sondern im Programm mute. Was bei weitem viel angenehmer ist.Zusammengefasst ist es ein sehr gutes Mikrofon. Der Preis ist mehr als in Ordnung. Ich empfehle dieses Mikrofon definitiv weiter, da die Leistung bei diesem Produkt einfach stimmt. :)

置いてる感じも動かんし、音質はいいしで、ボイスチャットには使える。他のコンデンサーマイクを3っ買って、なぜかあんまりにdiscordで雑音はいるとか音量小さいとかいろいろあったので買い換えで買ったら、だいぶ、普通に使える。録音してみてもdiscordの音量レベルメーターで半分は越える。雑音も控えめのような気がする。ヘッドセットは口からの空気がマイクに当たるのが卓上マイクだと少なくなるようにいい。ヘッドセットより音量もあるしいいことだらけ。マイク音量も初期音量から数回音量ダイヤルを右に入力するとあげれる。ミュートスイッチも効く。正面からの音声を良く録れるような気さえする。ほしかったよこのマイク。弟にも買ってあげようかな。このマイクGPROwirelessSUPER LIGHTっていう無線マウス近づけるとノイズ鳴るもう一つの別の低価格無線ゲーミングマウスはノイズ鳴らんなんかなり方がピーとかブツブツ鳴る
