The chef knife was a gift to my son and purchased another for my daughter who both loved the storage container, but mostly the feel, weight and cutting abilities of the knife itself.Nice to see the testing efforts to ensure a product meets quality ratings from anti rust, corrison, sharpness etc. Made of German steel 4116.Sliced through tomatoes barely applying any pressure. Sliced steaks and chicken like it was butter. Overall, I believe this would be a great gift for anyone looking to add a nice addition to their knife collection. So far so good. Comes out of the box razor sharp. I've cut a variety of things and it does well with everything so far. Good buy!

So I have had this knife since late 2017. We only use it on meat and vegetables that need to be cut with a sharper knife than our usual kmife set. Today 6/27/2020 it broke near the handle while it was being cleaned. It is very similar to the break that I am seeing in other pictures which makes me think it is a defect in many of these knives. Please be careful if you intend on purchasing this item. It has been reposted and the price has changed many times

Great knive sharp and light weight. Dropped it on the floor a few times and it held up great. Stays sharp for a while so watch them fingers
