I Love Dad with the Very Hungry Caterpillar

Sich a beautiful book with the cute caterpillar making an appearance on every page. You can even turn it into a game for more younger ones and make them find it. Bought this for my partners first fathers day and he absolutely loved it! Baby also thoroughly enjoyed it when he read it out loud to him. Definitely a must buy and something can be enjoyed over and over again for a really long time. The book itself it a really good quality and I absolutely love the illustrations. Very minimal and typical with the hungry caterpillar style book that we all love and enjoy so much. Really stands out and it captured my baby’s attention right away. Kept him really focused and engaged which made the reading session with his daddy so much more special and enjoyable. It is also ideal as a bedtime story because it isn’t too long. Also great for slightly older kids that maybe have just started school as you could get them to read it out to their dad on fathers day. I would say it would be similar to a red band book or a 4-6yr old to read depending on their reading skill level. Either way great for the entire family and a great addition to your childs library.

I bought this to read with baby but she's not that responsive to it like she is with Spot or Mog. She doesn't seem too interested in the caterpillar yet! The drawings are a little weird as well, the gorilla might even look a bit scary. It's a cute concept but it's not our favourite. Maybe she'll appreciate it more after we've had a good run with the original Hungry Caterpillar and she recognises him. It's a nice one to add to the collection though.

I bought this book so my granddaughter could give it to her father as a gift. It is perfect for that!

Good book to have in our little ones collection.

I started reading this book with my baby when Dad went back to work. Great book for conversation starting points. We read it all the time and we talk about how much we love Dad. I can’t wait until he can chat back. Illustrations are gorgeous.
