Perfect Fit!
This was a perfect fit for my 2011 Silverado 1500. It was fairly easy to replace and so far seems to be working well. Plus it was about half the price of the GM version.

Blocked inside. Get the OEM you won't regret.
Something was wrong with this unit. The gas tank gasses could not pass though it and into the venting solenoid. That caused the fuel gas nozzle at the gas pump to clic all the time, making fueling a pain. I replaced this unit with the OEM and problem solved. BTW, the venting solenoid was not the problem. I put compress air in the gas tank venting port and in this unit it barely flowed, while in the OEM air moved easily though the canister.

Fixed my problem!
I had a check engine light on for evap problem in a Chevy express. It fixed my issues!
