Simichrome Simichrome Polish 1.76oz 1.76 OZ TUBE

This product is beyond amazing. It only requires the slightest amount possible. Use it sparingly because it only requires a little dab to do an amazing job. I've used it one of my nickel-silver trumpets and on a old 10k gold ring of my late father. The ring was dull with no luster whatsoever. I applied a little bit using a q-tip and wiped it with a flannel polishing cloth. The results were immediate. It looks like a brand new gold ring.

This is the best silver polish I have ever used. It's quick, easy, and it does a great job! All the ladies of the church who take turns polishing silver swear by this product! It's worth every penny!

I've used this stuff for about 45 years. Words the best on softer metals like brass and aluminum but will also remove light rust stains on chrome. Works to get plexiglass or headlights clearer but you might need a finer polish to finish those materials. I gave the last of a tube to a friend and needed a new tube. If you're careful and don't step on the tube it will last a long time, probably years for the typical home or vehicle owner. I know the police department in my small town used to keep it on hand for their guns back when they carried revolvers.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I didn't read labels carefully and accidentally purchased a tarnished alpacca bracelet at an estate sale thinking it was real silver (alpacca is also known as German silver and is actually an alloy). I discovered my mistake as I was trying to polish the bracelet and nothing was happening. I had purchased this Simichrome to test Bakelite bracelets and thought I'd try it on the Alpacca, too. WOW! It turned my dull blah bracelet into a showpiece! This stuff really works and turned a purchase I regretted into one that I wear frequently! This is definitely a great product to keep around the house!

Size:I'm in my last years (45+) of working in my studio and don't want to add/ invest a huge container of the liquid wax from a stained glass store. Thought the reviews sounded good, and 1/2 of price on Amazon. My solder seems shinney and my window looks splendid.
