Don’t waste your money.
This was a Santa gift for my kid. Really hard to explain to a sick kid why Santa gave her a garbage toy for Xmas.The Wii remote has to be forced hard into the little remote slot on the guitar. (see pics) It doesn’t work most the time. There is no room for the remote and the big ass cord they put in it. I’ve tried everything, including different remotes. It will shove in, but the cords are bent and the connection/cord will break within the first week.This is junk. Just don’t buy it. Trust me.

Delayed & features not working
When we play the game the buttons are very delayed and the whammy doesn’t even work. Please reach out to me for a possible replacement as my family loves guitar hero. We’re super disappointed right now :(

Works well
Easy to put together. There is a piece of protective foam where you put the neck of the guitar in. We didn't realize until the piece wouldn't slide in all the way and click into place.

I ordered these to replace our wii guitar hero guitar. They work fine but are smaller in size than original guitars.

It works if you just want to play just for the sake of picking it up and hitting some notes.
After buying with an adapter it was an easy plug in, set up buttons and play for Clone Hero. At least the one I received has a big problem with over strumming so if you are looking for something that can reliably strum to keep scores. That being said if you just want a guitar to pick up quickly play some songs and put back down, this will get the job done.
