Excellent ladle. It doesn’t scratch my non-stick pans. It is well balanced in the hand with a nice long handle. The teak looks lovely and hardwearing. It’s more environmentally friendly and easily disposable than plastic.

Had these for a while now and can't grumble at all, handy for serving out the right size portions, peas, carrots, rice, gravy , custard , whatever you want to use them for , and they don't scratch the bottom or the sides of the trays, pans etc. Good value for money and will last for ages if you take care of them, I never put these in the dishwasher and even when washed up I try to dry them as quickly as possible or ever just leave them in any liquid for long periods of time, as you can see by pics which I have done so you get an idea of there sizes, and they are quite strong as well, look very good being pure wood. Arrived well packed in a box and even got a voucher for money off next purchase, and was here within a couple of days.

Perfect for ladeling soup.

Many of these wooden spoons are softwood impregnated with a plastic sealant, and it’s impossible to know whether the plastic is a health hazard or not. These spoons are hardwood and they are sealed with a ‘food grade lacquer’ so they should be ok, although I would have preferred no sealant whatsoever. The little hook on the obverse side is a great help, stops the spoon sliding into the soup!
