Simple to set up
I had my system professionally installed originally and balked at adding this PIR camera myself. It was a dawdle. Instructions in the box were good, but supplemented with an online video - really easy to find - I found linking it to my existing system using the app was straightforward.

Easy to use and set up
To replace previous faulty camera, so was easily to replace, just hold the very fine cable connection does but break when replacing batteries.

Great PIR Alarm Camera
Great PIR Camera, only 4 stars as the picture image needs a wider angle lens to capture the room. Other wise great product. It has a flash built in, so you can take a picture what ever time of day Top tip; Take a picture using the app, before final fitment - to make sure it's angled/positioned to capture the image you desire.

Works well but image quality not great
Don't get me wrong. I love the simplicity of the smart home system. We have had ours six months and it works really well. Activates when it should.. Forgetful sons..... And have had no faults. Would definitely recommend the alarm system. However I am disappointed with this particular part of it..quality of image from this in lower light. I recently bought a cheaper vid camera which had much better resolution. Perhaps the one thing Yale need to improve in what is otherwise a great system for the price.

No support from Yale
I had a problem with the alarm and tried to solve it through their customer support. Their support is awful with emails taking days to be answered and phoning is pointless due to the long waits. What followed was a series of emails often asking the same questions and offering the same solution which I had repeatedly tried with no success. After over 2 months of this I did some research into who was who at Yale. One name came out as being the person who was in charge of publicity for promoting the smart alarm. It was pretty easy to guess his email at Yale and a polite letter explaining what had been going on soon got a response. He delegated the task to a team leader of the customer support team. After several emails he switched me to a different server and the alarm began working. It was fairly easy to set up the alarm initially. I liked the idea of being able to control it from my phone. You can with the addition of a camera take a picture although not quite the resolution you need. It is expandable which is what I plan to do next. Yale need to spend some time giving better fault finding advice on their web site and training up more support staff.
