**Q: If mounted Horizontally in 2nd story soffit outside corner, what is the motion degree of range and distance**
A: Hello, we generally recommend the installation height of 2.5m, too high will make the motion distance shorten; in addition, the eave installation will make the sensor is not horizontally facing the motion area, which will also make the induction distance shorten. Maybe only have 20ft. We don't recommend you install here.

**Q: Can it be eave mounted without a junction box?**
A: You could but it would be a rig. A surface junction box is only 2" deep and it will be a clean and secure install.

Bought this to repalce my aging broken Halogen unit in the backyard. WOW! It is very bright. It took a few nights to adjuct the motion sensor and sensitivy. But it works great! Catches peole but I got to light up the yard to catch the night visitors on our blink camera. It catches the racoons, opposums, rabbits. Still waiting to ctahc the foxes and coyotes. The LEDs light up the yard and this uses less watts than the older 200watt halogen unit I had.
