Booklet is full of safety warnings.Came with no instructions regarding charging and/or changing the battery.Had to go on Youtube to figure how this works.Otherwise, it seems ok.The price was right if this holds up.

Great saw, light and with enough power to easily cut a 2*4 lumber. Comes with two 12v batteries.Charge the batteries take a lot of time with the provided charger.

Great machine. But the blades, at least for metal are useless. May as well use a butter knife. Also it is variable speed. But difficult to control speed when you have to do it by holding the trigger at the desired speed, hold the tool and keep it in place while using it. That not happening. So its only one speed. peddle to the metal speed. But other then that, I love the the little saw. Go buy some decent blades. I have some from my old heavy plug in reciprocate saw. Big heavy jobs, go to the plug in. Light around the house jobs, this thing is awesome.

Will return, tool became real warm within the first couple minutes. Locked up and never turned back on. Branch was no thicker than 2-3". Very disappointed

I have another corded reciprocating saw but wanted a cordless model but most I found were very expensive and some didn't come with a battery or charger or case which adds to the price even more. This saw comes with 2 batteries, a charger and a soft case.I saw the clamping jaw but wasn't clear on how it worked. The problem with most reciprocating saws is that they are hard to control and jump all over the place. Most deal with it by using some sort of plate at the back of the blade that you push up against whatever you are cutting and then pull the trigger and hope to hang on. This clamping jaw works wonderfully to hold the saw to what you are cutting and keeps it aligned. It is removable and snaps into the saw just above the blade. The clamp is actually a inverted V shape on each side of the blade that is spring loaded and is pushed up out of the way as you cut through. The inside of the V has teeth that grip what you are cutting. I think it would work best on something round but it possible could work on something flat like a board. I cut a few branches and it worked fantastic and kept the branches from bouncing around as the blade cut through it. This to me is the star of this saw and I'm surprised they don't highlight it more in the listing.It looks like the saw uses standard reciprocating saw blades so you can get replacements anywhere, even longer than the 6" blades it comes with.Another thing which surprised me is that when I opened it up initially I thought the batteries looked familiar. As it turns out this is the same brand of cordless drill that I got recently and the batteries are the same. So not only does this come with 2 batteries but I also have spares to use between the two tools. ２つ付属しているバッテリーの一つが不良品でした。本体に挿しても動きませんし、充電器に挿しても充電開始にならず全く充電できませんでしたがカスタマーサポートに連絡したら迅速に正常なバッテリーを送付して頂きました。

粗大ゴミ解体用に購入しました。マキタなどと比べると、軸ブレはありますがパワーは及第点だと思います。家庭用で重宝しております。

モーターにトルクがないのか、切り始めるとすぐに止まってしまいます。全く使い物になりません。枝の剪定用に買いました。いろいろと使ってみましたが、すぐに止まるので、使うの諦めました。使い始めて２時間で嫌になるですから、最低です。安物買いの銭失いの典型です。日本語の説明書はついてました。★１つ入れましたが、システムの都合上の話で、実質★無です

同型のGOLDSEA DC51933を購入し使い始めましたが、充電池の一つが2ヶ月以内に充電しなくなりました。本体が勿体ないので同型の電池を探したところ、このALTOCRAFTのレシプロソーが該当しました。商品取扱説明書を読むと12ヶ月保証がありました。Goldsea製品にはありません。電池容量は1.5Ahと向こうの2.0Ahまで届きませんが、一年保証が画期的です。それだけで選ぶ価値があります。製品はまだ使ってませんが全く同一製品の色違いバージョンだと思います。使用に関しては軽く扱いやすく不満はありません。
