The issue with the design is that it does not ...
The issue with the design is that it does not 'lock' in place without the handle being put in sealed position. This makes it hard when you are holding organic material in one hand to just click the lid up and place the items in. If you use recylcable bags then the handle tears them as it goes into lock position.

JUST RIGHT FOR MY REQUIREMENTS
I need one to place my non-recyclable waste into in my kitchen. There isn't such a great amount of it as a general rule so this sized kitchen caddy should do the trick handsomely. I thought my choice of the silver colour would distinguish it from the green one used in my kitchen for compostable waste. It'll save trudging outside to my grey bin whenever I have some sort of non-recyclable wrapping to dispose of and will stop me from sneaking it in with my recyclable waste kitchen bin and pretending I'd forgotten. Having stated all that I do wonder why I bother when I observe people putting both recyclable and non-recyclable bins out, even though the collection days are separate, only for the refuse collectors to sling the mixture into the back of the wagon anyway.Eamonn

It is a replacement for an old plastic box, which we use for vegetable waste to go on the compost heap. Holds enouh so that it does not have to be emptied twice a day, the lid is very secure and the box itself is very stable. It fits nicely under the sink.

Good quality caddy
It's a good caddy bin. It does the jump well. It's easy to open and to put in and remove the bags. It keeps the gross food smells in the bin and not wafting through the kitchen. It's a nice silver colour and really easy to clean. I definitely recommend this caddy.

A bin that's well designed for the purpose.
The size of this bin is just right for my requirements, and is well made and sturdy. I like the locking lid function, as it keeps those nasty 'fruit flies' away that tend to arrive in the summer. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase. 👍👍

Value for money
The only thing I don't like is the colour. Thought it would be more silver that grey. Its good, nice size and small enough to fit on the kitchen counter by the skin. Would buy this again but in a different colour
