Laser 3575 Flywheel Locking Tool - for Ford

Too small for the Ecoboost engine but good quality otherwise

Fantastic tool only problem was it's not designed for my car so had to be bolted on side of box rather than top

I had to alter the tool because the tooth that locates the flywheel does not reach the flywheel 4mm short, now it's ok, but if you do not have a welder you would have to send it back delaying the job further.

This tool doe NOT fit the Ford Focus 1.6. The locking tooth is too short to engage with the flywheel teeth

Excellent piece of kit

This is a nicely made flywheel locking tool that works properly and is easy to use.I bought it to re-fit a flywheel on to a Ford Pinto engine. Unfortunately it did not fit the Pinto block. Fortunately for me I am a machinist and was able to make up an adapter. I would recommend finding out which Ford engine it does fit before ordering one up. Despite the frustration of it not fitting my particular engine block, I would still recommend the product as it is well made, will last a lifetime of use and was good value for money. (Just check what it fits before ordering one!)
