I like the multi function of this tool. A hatchet, an ulu style knife, a gut hook and a hammer. Combined with a folding saw, a Swiss Army knife and an auger set I feel just about ready to take on any task. It's not too costly and doesn't break the bank. I'm really looking forward to seeing what all this tool has to offer. It is lightweight yet heavy enough to get the job done.

Okay I will start with my wanting one of these since I bought my Charter Arms AR-7 22LR as a kid. So this is my initial thought about it at removal from packaging. After I have it some time I will try to update my review. Good secure packaging though.So I seen it was being made again I order one. Nice leather sheath, that needs treatment to make it better "IMHO" and the edge is dull. So don't think it's order receive pack away for a bad day. A plus is not a convex edge, so not likely to chip off. The gut hook is fairly sharp out of box, I will definitely need to sharpen the main edge as most knives and axes are sold in USA now. 😐 Out of box you could haft it and split kindling for a fire probably. It came with 2 screws and screwdriver in box. No burs felt in threads or marks on finish, feels solid in hand. Next time I'm firing up my smoker, I need to try it out splitting up hickory chunks. The pictures are to put the size in perspective.

This works great as an all in one survival camp hatchet. But when taking off the smaller branches, DON'T MISS OR THE CUT BRANCHES WILL TEAR UP YOUR FINGERS!!! I found this out the hard way just as my wife did. Once we got the handle made, it worked great. We even processed a few fish with it. And it hammers in tent stakes just fine! I would recommend this for any camper or survivalist for the JUST IN CASE scenario!!!

Full disclosure, I love camping and survival gadgets. If you do too, buy it. You will not be disappointed. That said... it weighs about the same as a lightweight hatchet. Good for loading up your Batman tool belt and small enough for a bug-out bag. Oil the belt case. Will last a lifetime.... and your heirs will not have a clue what it does.
