Sounds, feels, and looks fantastic!
This keyboard sounds and feels great to play. Spent quite a bit of time in a store to play all the different brands and models and this one stood out to be the better sounding one within this price range. The stand and seat makes it look nice and the price of bundle was reasonable compared to piecing it out separately.Did not buy it for tons of sound effects, so it doesn’t have many. (I don’t want to hear space sounds when the kids practice) it does have the ability to record but all of those features are pretty basic. I wanted something that was easy to use, sounds realistic, and the keys were weighted so it felt like a real piano. Glad we made this purchase.

Perfect Piano for Beginners and Intermediate Players
I’ve been using this digital piano for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The weighted keys feel very close to an acoustic piano, which makes practicing much more enjoyable and realistic. The sound quality is rich and full, and it’s great for both classical pieces and more modern styles. The slim, modern design fits beautifully in my space, especially next to the window—it feels like my own cozy little music nook. The included bench is sturdy and comfortable, even for longer practice sessions.

Very nice
This is a nice set from Austin Bazaar. I am learning having almost no prior experience. My requirements for a digital piano were 1) 88 keys, 2) "real" piano feel and 3) a good sustain pedal. The FP-30X fulfills that nicely. The pedal looks like it was added by Austin Bazaar which was a nice bonus being much better quality than the one that comes with it. The stool and stand were okay, but I ended up not using them. The stool would hurt my back, so I got another one with a back rest. The stand is a generic one but was slightly unstable as the piano did not fit onto it perfectly. Also, my legs would tend to bump the crossbar of the stand. I got another stand from K&M which was rock solid and has no crossbars. One feature I was not looking for, but should have was the Bluetooth support (IN/OUT). It's fantastic to use with learning apps. A real game changer. The BT connection worked flawlessly. With this piano you pretty much need to use the Roland App (IOS or Android, I don't know about PC). While you could change the settings via the buttons/keys on the piano, it's convoluted and a hassle. For example, to change voices you need to look up the key combination in the user manual which is in small type. You select the voice by pressing one of three buttons and one of the piano keys at the same time. It wouldn't be so bad if the keys were labelled, but they're not. There are labels but they are for something else and are hard to read. Similar situation for other settings and there are a lot of them. And you can't tell what they are currently set at. Using the App, it's a breeze.I've been "playing" this piano for four months now. Very happy with it.

Great Company from Whom to Purchase!
I ordered this for our grandson for Christmas, so I cannot give you his review, but I can tell you this. I ordered this on the 25th of October, and it was delivered the 27th! Prompt! After opening the product, checking for all parts, etc. I discovered the screws were missing which was needed to put the keyboard's stand together. I called Austin Bazaar direct, told them what was missing. The representative was kind, attentive, and told me that he would send another stand. I explained that I just needed the screws, if possible. He suggested that I donate the other stand, if he did indeed need to send me another stand v. "just the screws". I assured him that I would. A new stand was delivered to our home within a few days. So, just WOW! How efficient!A few days ago, perusing music, etc. on amazon.com, I saw that the price of this particular keyboard had been reduced a $100.00. I was not sure how many days later the price was reduced (within 5 - 7), but I thought I would give the company another call simply to ask the question whether or not I, too, could be given the reduced price of $479.99, $100.00 less than what I had paid. It doesn't hurt to ask, right? If the company could not do that, of course, I would have to accept that. This customer representative to whom I spoke this second time, was just as courteous, attentive to what my question was, and told me that I would be refunded that amount. I was truly astounded! I asked him again, and also added, "Are you really going to do that for me? We (husband and I) are seniors on fixed incomes." He told me yes, and that it would be a few days. I was so very grateful to this gentleman! To the company! I told him that I appreciated this so much; now, we could help to get the other grandchildren their additional items. This same day as my second call to Austin Bazaar: I just checked my e-mail, and already had a message from Austin Bazaar stating that my account had been refunded the $100.00 plus the additional tax.I am truly impressed and grateful; I had looked all over north Georgia for this same Roland Keyboard. I was hesitant about ordering for it to be shipped, but with this company, no one should be. All products were packaged very well. In the first box which included all the components... keyboard, bench, books, CD, pedal, adapter cord, Allen wrench, attachable music stand that fits on the keyboard, & keyboard stand (just without screws). The one box which contained the first keyboard stand (long and slender) was open at one end. I shared all this information with the first representative to whom I spoke.Oh, yes. After the initial opening of the delivery of the keyboard, I plugged everything in, including the foot pedal, attached the music stand, and played. I have played for years, but do not have experience with an electric keyboard. I loved it! My favorite function besides the grand piano are the strings. What fun! Any budding musical artist (I believe from beginner to intermediate to + range) will love this keyboard. I also think that the varied functions will be highly motivating to any person broadening his/her ability to play!My opinion? You cannot go wrong ordering from Austin Bazaar!

I didn't unbox this but I tried one in the store
The action is fine, feels almost as piano like as the kawai in the same price range - definitely good enough for me to practice on and transition to a good acoustic piano with no problems. I didn't care for the surface of the keys particularly - I'm not sure why manufacturers think that ivory keys feel a bit rough or textured. The ones I've played on don't feel like that. I decided on the kawai because it sounded better to me on the default piano and was simple - I don't really end up using all the bells and whistles because I'm happy and challenged to practice the piano from printed sheet music, memory and improvisation. Definitely try everything in a store before you buy. A home trial with something like this (large and heavy to ship, lot's of work to unpack, set up and repack) is not a good idea at all
