It is a great product. The coals burn long with even heat distribution.

I found that this is the best thing for heat and time of burn. It’s hands down better than most other charcoals and way better than all other briquettes. The heat that these give off is great for pizzas and the length of burn is great for longer BBQs such as party’s for friends and families.

I think if you have that charcoal taste, these aren't going to be the ones to go for. However, they are great for long cooks. They seem to burn far longer. I was able to get a 10 hour cook with the snake method but far fewer briquettes.But for something like burgers and steak, I think it lacks that depth and flavour of lumpwood.One thing I do love about these is the smoke - they seem to chuck out a lot less which makes them great if you don't want to annoy your neighbours.
