Q: What type of hold strength does it say on the package? is this gentle, medium or strong hold?

Mine didn't come with the package, just shrink wrap. I would definitely say mine is gentle. It comes off easily if you pick it off. At the same time, it will stay on all day if you leave it alone.

Q: Can this replace moleskin?

It is very durable and well padded. I use it over my nipples while I run. One application has lasted many many marathons and half marathons.

Q: is there a dispenser?

What I purchased did not come with a dispenser. I have not seen one for this.
