Every novel in this series has mystery, romance, character depth and relationships between characters develop naturally. You find yourself routing for them all! The Infernal Devices were released after The Mortal Instruments and although I thought THERE WAS NO BETTER than the Mortal Instruments; I was proven wrong. I personally slightly prefer The Infernal Devices due to the time in which it is set and I just personally found Will and Tessa as my two favourite characters. Especially the depth of Will who happens to be my favourite character in any book series ever. I am now working through the Last Hours on my Kindle but have decided to start buying the hardback copy box sets because I have fallen completely in love with all of Cassandras works and wish to display them proudly in my home. I just cannot recommend them enough. It honestly, wholeheartedly holds a special place in my heart. The characters, the plot, the romance, and the epilogue in the third book broke me apart and made me whole again. I can’t even describe how much I love this series, or the fact that it isn’t as popular as other series in the young adult genre because this is a lot better that popular series I have read.
