I have arthritis in both of my thumbs. I have been using this on my left hand, which is more painful, but will definitely be getting another one to use on my right hand. This brace is very comfortable! I use it when I’m working around the house, but have also started using it when I lift weights. It really helps to stabilize the thumb joint. The size is very customizable!

I sprained my thumb a few times back to back in training. I dont want to stop training so I tried wrapping it with the self sticky wrap at CVS and that became very expensive very fast. I tried just wrapping with athletic tape, but that was very uncomfortable and ineffective.This brace works very well to prevent my thumb from going backwards again and is pretty comfortable. Ive been using it for 3 weeks now and i never sprained my thumb again while wearing it.

I needed to get a thumb stabilizer to treat tendinitis. I initially got a slightly cheaper thumb stabilizer here on Amazon, because I was being cheap, and I regretted it - that one was very bulky and uncomfortable, and I hated it. I then got this one, and it's much better. I will actually wear this.There's a thin velcro strap attached to laces that wraps around your wrist, and a thin velcro strap that wraps around your thumb. It's thin enough that using a computer mouse isn't a problem (though typing is still uncomfortable as hitting the space bar with the thumb feels weird, but it's way better than what I tried before).Overall, it's comfortable. Not as comfortable as not wearing a brace, obviously, but way more comfortable than the cheaper brace I tried. For the $4 price difference, this one is well worth the extra. I would honestly even pay $20 for this as it's so much more comfortable, and I'll actually wear this brace.If you're looking for a sleek, low profile thumb stabilizer, I highly recommend skipping the cheaper ones and getting this one.

I have some arthritis in my left thumb that bothers me on and off. I had terrible pain for a few days. The thumb and wrist braces I had were too firm and made my hand more sore. I found this on Amazon and thought it looked good. I got the next day after ordering and it really helped relieve the pain but I was still very sore. I saw my chiropractor the next day and found out I had dislocation in the thumb and tendons. This stabilizer is even more comfortable now that my thumb is back in place. It is wonderful! It gives good support to my thumb without making the rest of my hand sore. It supports the thumb without being too tight or too firm. It is a lightweight, but supportive brace for my thumb. This is the best support I have found for my hand. I can sleep in it also and support the thumb while I sleep. It make driving my more comfortable. My thumb is healing well. I use it as needed. I bought a small/medium and it just fits. The sizing seems to be appropriate. I highly recommend it.

Futuro made a good, quality product. I liked the design, but their sizing label "S/M" serves Futuro more than the customer.The circumference of my wrist is 5 1/2" and I had to make some adjustments because the strap overlapped the area it needed to adhere. It took me a fair amount of time to alter the product to fit my size, but in the end, I was successful.With that said, I truly believe the sizing of something like this should reflect individual sizes "S", "M', "L", along w/measurements.

I got these for my husband for what is commonly known as skier's thumb. Both of his thumbs will go out of joint with very little pressure. That wouldn't be so bad but the pain and duration of that pain makes this a significant problem. After reading the reviews and looking at the price we decided that these were worth a try. They worked so well, we're getting another so he has a pair. We showed the brace to our hand specialist and one of the things he noted was the metal support built into the stabilizer. My husband found that his thumb did not go out of joint even when he was dealing with 4 x 4 lumber. It was a godsend. This stabilizer also allows dexterity because the only support is for the thumb - only limited how the thumb moves - so fine hand movements are possible.Highly recommend to anyone experience this type of problem.

I recently had CMC surgery. I needed a soft brace while recovering. My OT recommended a different brand but I decided to go with this one. I’m glad I did!! It’s comfortable and easy to use. The thumb part is sturdy but not too stiff. Definitely recommend!
