Hooked up and only one turn signal work? Then it started smoking? Thought I had it hooked up wrong but found it was connected correctly

Signal lights and odometer and speedometer quit working within 225km of use. Let’s see if they will issue a replacement as this is a new automotive part and it should last more than 225km
