I would call this book the bible of the fretboard. Finally a book that really helps you build some good foundation on the fretboard logic.It uses a very unique and understandable approach on how chords, scales and patterns work on the fretboard without focusing on dump memorization. The most important thing is that it teaches you in a very easy and efficient way on how all these chords and scales (you probably already know) are built.It is good for both beginners and advanced players as well. Beginners might find it a bit difficult to understand few concepts towards the end of volume II but a second reading from start to end will reveal a lot of precious knowledge.Highly recommended!

This book is superb, I enjoy the outline of this book and the way the writer explains his techniques to readers.Thank you and I recommend this book to all beginners for adequate understanding of basic music theory for guitarist.

After having the book for a short time and working on the material I would have to say this is the best way to learn guitar for anyone . Straight forward and easy to use this will definitely be my number one recommendation and teaching method.

The concept of using the same shapes for chords and appegios etc is very powerful.It encourages practice to strengthen my left hand. It encourages practice which takes time - but leads to greater understanding of the fretboard and how to use it. It has helped me to improve.

This book combines volumes 1 and 2 of Bill Edwards excellent Fretboard Logic series. This two volumes offer excellent explanations and exercises for the "advanced beginner" and intermediate player who perhaps needs to brush up on his or her knowledge. Contains loads of material around common scales, triads, arpeggios and chords as well as going over the CAGED system and its application. I find I keep referrting back to it again and again despite having owned and used it for over 3 years now.

It was exactly what I needed
