Very happy with the cd but particularly the price 😀

Don't know as got as a b'day pressie for new PA... but as far as can tell, loved it...

The last great Cure album from 2004, as I thought 4:13 was patchy at best.Virtually every track is a classic, my personal favourites being Lost, alt.end and the stunning closing track Going Nowhere.Very Highly Recommended.

This is The Cure record I like the least too, but it has a couple of songs that I absolutely love :Taking off and Going nowhere are up to the standard of the best Robert Smith, Anniversary and End of the world are not too bad neither.....all the rest is probably better to pretend it doesn't exist.....

I love it! Great album with so emotional songs and melodies. The dvd are just few songs being recording in the studio.

So many reviews are done way too quickly and this needs at least 20 listens to get into it.I love Cure albums that have a 'sound' - 17 Secs 'Sparse' - Faith 'Gloomy Bass' - Pornography 'Intense Drumming' - The Top 'Trippy' etc. You then get the Head on the Door which is the first Cure album to marry up all their sounds and KMKMKM, Wish, Wild Mood Swings follow that pattern.However The Cure - The Cure has a raw, live sound which may not be to everyone's taking, but it suits the album and the songs. Anniversary is perhaps the only song which sounds like it doesn't belong (could have been on Pornography). There are some fantastic songs on this and Us or Them is the highlight for me.Worth noting that the B-Sides from this era that Ross Robinson [the Producer] wanted on the album are excellent and I'd love to know what track listing he wanted as it would have been pretty dark.
