Are they gluten free?

Clif bars don't directly contain gluten (no added wheat or gluten products) but they contain oats, which are frequently contaminated by wheat (wheat seeds blow into oat fields). Clif doesn't guarantee that their oats are gluten free. So they may contain trace amounts of wheat, which is an issue for people with celiac or very high gluten sensitivity. I have a mild wheat allergy and am not bothered by them, so YMMV.
