This is my second hydroponic system even though it's lacking one particularly important feature it's value and ease-of-use makes up for it.What I really like about this hydroponic system is that it has a clear 360 degree view of the water tank so you're never left guessing whether you should refill the water unlike some others. It's easy to put together and I can appreciate that it has a LED light cooling window to disperse Heat because that can become an issue as well in other products. I like this has an adjustable 13 inch height to it so it's flexible when your plants start to sprout and take off. I'd say the most glaring negative I have about this system is that there is no adjustable timer, it does have a timer however it's a set 16 hours on and a 12-hour off system so that means you'll have to be around to set the timer and hope that the electric doesn't go out at some point else you'll be redoing it again.Overall I recommend this product for anyone who's interested in indoor herb growing or indoor plant growing and don't want to bother with dirt and all that mess or for anyone who's just looking for a new hobby. It's well worth the price and holds up well

Propeller for aerator does not spin. My first set of pods molded. Can't find new pods for it online. Otherwise, easy to set up & use. Would not recommend. I would have returned, but unfortunately, didn't start using it until after return window closed. Contacted customer service twice. They have not responded.

I used it for Basil. We use fresh Basil in several foods and appetizers. The first time, it didn't work, for unknown reasons, but on the second try, we were able to get it to work. This system is only useful in the colder months, because for about 8-9 months the herbs we use can be grown outside on the deck or patio where I live.

Super cute gift for anyone into growing their veggies indoors! Comes with soil pods to get you started and fairly easy to figure out how the pieces together on your own.I will say I wish there were more thorough assembly instructions, and also because there is no brand name title for the product it’s hard to look up online and find what directions even go with it. Also no instructions for finding out how to proceed about getting more soil pods / if there’s any types you should or shouldn’t use.Nevertheless, it was a great gift option for my family this holiday— I’m excited for my veggies to grow!

I am a DIY for cheap kind of buyer but wanted a nice looking system for in my living area. I have built many of these types of units and all I can say it has going for it is it looks good. It functions OK but nothing to be crazy about. Timer is not adjustable so you will have to be in the room the exact minute you want to have the light cycle to come on. So if you want the 18 hour light cycle to start at 5am then get up at 5am. This thing is bright so I want to have it come on at 6am and run all day for 18 hours. Even if you use a power timer with built in time it would reset and you will have to manually every day. If the power goes out you will have to reset it at your start time every time.I am not sure why these companies cant put a clock timer on these things for little or no money. It would be a game changerI have updated my review because I initially stated this was too expensive which it is the cheapest 6 plant one on Amazon I could find. Although it is you can buy a 12 plant system for less than double. The vendor states that 12 plants is too many because of crowding but I feel 6 or 12 could potentially have crowding. Anyway I have updated it based on 6 and not comparing to 12 entirely for price. This is a good value.

I was pleased with the quality and the idea but disappointed in the use. It is really only good for starting seedlings. not as an actual plant growth system. Also, it's not meant to start many at a time a very limited amount of seeds at a time, I do wish it was larger so I could start more plants at once.

My wife and I are avid outdoor Gardiners. We own over 40 above ground planters from very large to small. We grow almost everything that we eat, but we have never done hydroponics.I ordered this to try during the Winter with some of our herbs. Yesterday, we finally were able to get the time to set things up and get going with our hydroponics experiment.The unit was easy to put together. The light slides easily up and down and fully extended, it is just under 18" tall. It comes complete with your first dozen grow plugs. These are standard plugs you can get just about anywhere once you use up the ones that are included.The grow lights are very bright. Not so sure that I would put this on my desk, but there are many other great places to keep it. My wife decided to put it in the kitchen since she is the one that takes care of all of our herbs. She planted Chives, Garlic Chives and Basil. We are both very anxious to see if we can grow in liquid the same as we grow in soil.This is an EXCELLENT package to get anyone started with hydroponics before they try it on a larger scale. This is a well-built, well-thought-out, complete (does not contain any seeds) product for anyone who wants to learn. It also makes a very attractive piece in your home.This a good value for the price. My wife an I both love this Growing System.I highly recommend this Hydroponics Growing System!!
