Not worth the hassle of returning, but it's still mis-selling to arrive without the stud, which costs £8 seperately.

**Q: Can other magic arms with 1/4"-20 threads be mounted to this clamp?**
A: The 'main way' of mounting to this (as I've seen) is by way of "magic arm" which uses the large manfrotto stud which would go into a hole on the bottom of this clamp, and not shown in the 2 photos provided for you here. So the ends of that magic arm are inserted into the bottom, tightened, and used to apply this clamp/arm assembly to whatever. Keeping in mind that I can only speak for Manfrotto arms, as I don't own any 'knock-offs' in which to gauge a better response to you. If I've not answered you in a way that helps, please re-phrase your question so that I can better help you out.(there is a 1/4 - 20 hole on the bottom of this clamp also suitable for that size MALE screw-in)

**Q: does it come with a wedge and can i mount a camera directly to the stud?**
A: I'm not sure what you mean by a "wedge". But the camera will mount directly to the stud. I found it easier to mount the stud to the camera first and then to the clamp.

**Q: What products would I need to mount my DSLR upside down from a bar for an aerial shot?**
A: I would use a Manfrotto 035RL Super Clamp + Manfrotto 208HEX 3/8-Inch Camera Mounting Platform Adapter + Manfrotto 496RC2 Ball Head (or any other head).

**Q: I have this clamp, but lost the stud, is another stud available?**

Kinda the industry standard (one of 'em, anyway) so they're what you expect - they do a good job, they hold well, stay clamped and stable, they're-heavy duty. These clamps have removable, easy to change, pins and 1/4" threads on the clamp heads that allow you to thread in magic arms or whatever rigging uses 1/4" so plenty of flexibility in that option, alone. The included insert allows one to clamp on flat surfaces, or remove it and you can squeeze round stuff like c-stands, you can even use the pin to attach one clamp to another, offering even more versatility.
